Unfortunately, REI pulled their outdoor adventures, but Rendezvous picked up where they left off and made improvements. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and created a fun and safe environment. Luke and Taylor were a fantastic team. We had a great time. The adding of the white water kayaking on the last day was a huge upgrade. Taylor's knowledge of each rapid allowed me to take them on with confidence. We did miss have Luke on this portion of the trip, however we understand he had to take care of the "clean up" for the equipment on the trip. We can't say enough about this trip and the unforgettable memories we made. I would highly recommend this trip.

The restaurant we were going to that night was also across the street from the park and we wanted to see the best route to take from our hotel to this area, hence hanging out in the park for a little bit. The park has a lot of amenities, including areas you can rent out for large parties. There are courts for games like pickleball and a nice open grassy space. The playground is very cute and kids of all ages would probably love to play on the sets. There is a nice looking bathroom but unfortunately, they close for the winter, beginning on October 1st.

You pack into the "Big Red" tram and ascend 4,139 vertical feet up Rendezvous Mountain, and the views just get better and better. On a clear day, you can see the entire valley spread out below you -- it's one of those "wow, this is why I travel" moments. Then you step off at 10,450 feet and make your way to Corbet's Cabin. The smell hits you first. The air is filled with warm waffles cooking in a tiny, cozy hut perched at the top of the mountain. It feels like a hidden alpine secret, even though everyone knows about it. But, on a windy day, be careful! The waffles? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with toppings. The brown sugar butter and bacon combo is legendary, but honestly you can't go wrong. Eating a hot waffle at the top of the Tetons before dropping into serious terrain (or just cruising down a groomer) is peak ski culture. Pro tip: go early. Lines build fast, especially on powder days. Five stars just for the tram-to-waffle experience alone. It's not just a snack, it's a rite of passage.

She asked all the right questions--clear, appropriate, and in full compliance with ADA regulations--ensuring both the person and their service animal were treated with dignity. It was evident that Martha not only knew the law but truly embraced the spirit of inclusion and respect behind it. What stood out the most was her calm, kind demeanor. She made sure the individual felt comfortable, supported, and welcomed, never once making them feel like an inconvenience or outsider. Her thoughtful approach turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and positive experience. Martha is a shining example of how service, compassion, and professionalism should look. She's not only informed--she's intuitive, respectful, and truly cares about doing right by others. The camp is great though definitely expect rustic accommodations with the exception of the beds, which are (heavenly) real mattresses. The horses and ride were great - very well-mannered animals and a wonderful evening ride through wildflower-filled mountain meadows, creeks, and up and down reasonably challenging terrain. What my daughter (and I) loved most were the people - Sam was a great cook and friendly guide and our other guide Mariah was incredibly patient with my daughter's barrage of questions and let her help put away tack and feed the horses after the ride. A truly memorable Wyoming experience with many great memories.

The horses we were on were Big Kent and Big Tex- both were great and they did well for us and we ( experienced riders) loved it that we actually had to ride them. Horses are nice and fat/healthy. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I'm very grateful for the opportunity to visit. Here are a few tips based on my experience: We lodged in Victor, Idaho, which was super convenient for Grand Teton NP. It's much more affordable, and the drive was beautiful. There is so much to do at GTP--I recommend exploring the park for at least 2+ days. Here's what I recommend. Start each day early: * 5:45 AM - Schwabacher's Landing (sunrise) * 6:45 AM - Snake River Overlook * 7:30 AM - Mormon Row (barn glow) * Jenny Lake Shuttle (8-8:30 AM, $20 RT) * Hike Hidden Falls (0.5 mi, 15-20 min) * Hike Inspiration Point (0.4 mi , 20-30 min) Take a break and have lunch at Dornan's Pizza Pasta Co. After lunch, head over to String Lake (swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding). End your day at Glacier View Turnout and Mount Moran Turnout for a scenic drive along Teton Park Road.

King Tubes is located next to Snow King Ski Resort and is open nights until 7 pm, making it a great way to end your day of snowy fun. It is $16 for an hour, $5 more for the second hour. The actual hill is pretty small, with three lanes to go down. I went with 3 other people... We start out riding down solo, racing each other. We quickly saw that riding down with another tube, or even riding down with all 4 tubes connected, meant you would travel much faster. And faster is funner when it comes to tubing. This isn't something I'd necessarily recommend for repeat visits, but it was certainly a fun way to spend one (somewhat drunken) evening while we were in Jackson.

What a fun place to book for a water rafting trip. Anyhow, we were provided with George our bus driver... let me just say he is a hoot!!! I loved his great boisterous personality! He made the bus ride so much fun. We were all cracking up at his hilarious stories. Before we knew it we were placed on this raft with our guide Alex who was also very fun! He was a great guide. He made us all feel very safe and my kids were able to hang out in the front and get blasted by the crazy rapids coming into our raft. We had a decide size group with us about 14 I believe yet we all had a great time and they had changing rooms for us to use afterwards and clean bathrooms to all get freshened up. Overall had two great people to guide us through the morning and would do it again. Definitely recommend getting the wetsuits! It's worth it. You'd freeze if not. It's pretty cold!!
