It wasn't overwhelming busy either. There were large and small groups all enjoying meals. This was my first time here and I thought the brunch selection was pretty good. They had your standard breakfast options like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast sticks, etc. Then there was lunch food like broasted chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, etc. In addition to a salad bar, sundae bar and a wide variety of desserts like pies and brownies. Another plus was a self service beverage area that had different juices and milk. I wish they had a self service coffee area since our servers weren't really that efficient bringing or filling coffee. Same with water too. I don't usually enjoy buffets. I think the food sits out too long and is not the greatest quality. I find a la carte brunches much more suited to my tastes. But this buffet did have a good selection and the food tasted good because it was constantly being refilled. And for $9.99/person this was a really good choice.

The Gathering is one of our "ball peen hammer restaurants". I will never right a bad review off of just one experience. I will almost always give the place a second or even third chance. We gave The Gathering two chances for brunch. Both times my wife and I went by ourselves and were seated at a round table designed for six or more people. It's very awkward for two people to have a comfortable meal at such a big table. Both times we went for the brunch buffet were early in their service time. Both times the food was cold, dried out and sometimes rubbery. I took what I thought was a pork dish from the buffet, to later learn that it was a fish dish. Unfortunately The Gathering is the largest banquet hall in town, so many weddings are held there. The last one I went to there, I was on the first table served, and my dish was cold. I'm not sure how they can serve cold food. There was also a large time delay between the first and last people served. If I'm going there for a wedding, I usually try to eat somewhere else first.

He was so kind as to meet with me on a Sunday afternoon to go over song choice and discuss our "vibe" for the night. Also, they last minute did our ceremony as well, which we received many compliments on. Adam was professional throughout the night and I could tell his biggest concern was whether or not the groom and I were having fun, and we had an absolute blast! My friends and family have been talking non-stop about how much fun our wedding was and I know it wouldn't have been the same without Elite & Adam!

They were super flexible when we ended up having to change our ceremony location 2 days before the event, and Dan made it a stress-free switch which was very appreciated. He also did a great job of getting the wedding party hyped for the grand entrance and really excited the crowd as MC - it was so much fun! The up-lighting that came with our package really transformed our space as well and made a great party atmosphere. We had many different ages and genres for our music, and even so we had people on the dance floor all night. A special moment for us was when Dan handed my husband a microphone and then he serenaded me with "Lucky" by Britney Spears. All of this and our pre-wedding meeting with Dan really helped us figure out a timeline, flow, and feel for the wedding and made it streamlined the day of (or if there were hitches I didn't hear about them!).
