There are many Pros and Cons about this school as I'm sure there are with any school. Personally, we have had some ups and downs at this school that have left me feeling a bit off put by it. (But that was our personal exp) There is a mixture of teachers. Some are EXCELLENT! If you are lucky enough to get one of these thank your lucky stars. If not, hold on for a bumpy school year. The ones who really care about education and not just having a pay check are the ones that shine at this school. And sadly are not the ones usually recognized either. The office staff for the most part are wonderful! There are a few you'd like to bop on the head. Mostly helpful and polite. There is usually a volunteer in the front office helping out as well. There is a full time nurse in site who takes care of everything medically related. The school is clean, like any place in Florida there are bugs but not from dirt. They repaint it the same ole boring colours of cream and turquoise. But the district only allows for a choice between two colours. There is a gym/cafeteria/auditorium. There is a huge back PE area. Field, court and playground. All is fenced in and locked up when school is in. The only way you can get in is through the front office with an ID in hand. There is a library, which is always in need of gently used books. There is a media center and a computer lab. There is no pre-school offered but there are special needs ISD classes. Limited parking in three lots. One of them is mainly teacher parking off to the side of the school. One of front and one in the back by the car circle. You can come have lunch with your kiddo which is pretty cool and they are always looking for volunteers for various things.

We had a parent/teacher conference and was told our child had a focusing problem and see our pediatrician. I called the school nurse for an evaluation and the school nurse said to skip the pediatrician and see a neurologist and put him i mess, NO JOKE!! Now he has never been in trouble of which required intervention, seen the principal, nor was denoted prior to having issues, he is 10. I suggested that the teacher perhaps was not the right fit which she was offended by clearly. We interviewed a fabulous charter school, met the teachers, and he is in the school doing well, in fact all a's and one c in reading of which the current teacher said not to worry he had to get used to get strategies. I asked her if she noted any problems requiring intervention and said ABSOLUTELY NOT. Had issues the previous year with my other child of which he was never in trouble and the teachers and administration really stunk at the handling if an issue and did not even take the word of a patrol and mentor, of which my son was put through slot if crap for something he didnt do. I would not recommend this school for VPK or any other childcare options. After spending two years…read morehere and close to $50000 I had to switch my twins mid year due to the school's incompetence and inappropriate behavior. It should have been a red flag when half of their staff quit between the summer and fall of '22 but I stupidly turned a blind eye. They will change their contracts mid year, lie about tuition increases and allow their staff to yell at you if you give any sort of push back about these changes. They will then gaslight you saying it's your fault. They will threaten you with kicking your children out. So I did them the favor of pulling my kids out. After witnessing their new director Tara yell at another parent in the lobby because she wanted to speak to an owner that was my last straw and I decided this was NOT a place I want to send my kids to. They give off a nice presentation but if you take a deep look into what's really going on behind the scenes you will find greedy crass owners who only care about themselves. My kids are now thriving being out of that negative energy. I wish I would have switched sooner!

Remind you with a 50/50 custody case parents have right of refusal. I don't feel school staff should be getting in the middle ofparenting issues were there is no harm or threat to anyone. I do not suggest sending your child to a school where staff push their emotions on you. I have my MBA and am a English tutor. Be weary of staff that involved in your life and business. If they ask why I want the child withdrawn it's my right to do what I please ! There is no such thing as kidnapping your own child.
