The doctor was extremely gentle and reassuring throughout the procedure, and I didn't feel any pain at all. The staff constantly checked on me to make sure I was okay and comfortable, which made a huge difference. They also explained every step of the process clearly before and during the extraction, so I always knew what to expect and felt very calm and confident the entire time. On top of that, they offered me flexible payment options at the end, which I really appreciated because it made the whole experience even less stressful. Wow, I can't say enough good things about Olean Dental Studio! I called as a new patient at 10am, they got me in for an evaluation at 12:30 the same afternoon. I had spent a few hours reading reviews on different sites of dentists all over Port Charlotte and decided to give Olean a try after being scared away from letting Aspen Dental work on my teeth after reading the horror stories on their Yelp reviews, and I am so glad I did. The staff were all so kind and supportive, I was really impressed. They shifted things around and made extra time for me so that I was able to get evaluation, Xrays, cleaning, and 3 fillings all done on this same day appointment! My out of pocket cost ended up being $258 with MetLife insurance, less than half of the $600 I was quoted for the same work at Aspen! Dr. De La Paz was so awesome, she was very skilled and kept checking to make sure I was comfortable enough, how my bite felt, were there any rough surfaces, etc. to make sure I was satisfied with the fillings. This was my first time visiting and definitely not my last. I called frantically because I believed I had hurt my tooth, but I wasn't quite sure what happened. The Olean dental studio team immediately made me an appointment the same day as my phone call. They made sure to do tests and scans of my teeth and examined all of my teeth and gums, not just the problem that had occurred. When I realized that I had a cracked tooth, the team was very understanding and comforting, helping me understand the options that I have and the recommendation that they would like for me to take to feel better and prevent further damage. They also were able to bring comfort and understanding through every step of the process by providing me headphones, a stress ball and a blanket and advised me of every step along the way. this office runs so efficiently. I have never had a long wait when they tell me my appointment is that is when I am seeing. always greeted as soon as you come in the door by name. They are always focused on your comfort and if you have any pain and they address it immediately. The office is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff and the doctors are friendly and funny and make what is usually not a pleasant experience a surprisingly pleasant one..
