I have gone to a lot of dentists in my short life. I like to have my teeth cleaned at least once every 3 months compared with the minimum of once a year or the recommended two times a year. My mouth just feels so much better. Dr. Brooks office is a really great place to patronize. All of the staff are friendly and helpful as is Dr. Brooks. Dr. Brooks is very knowledgeable, proficient and thorough. It is also interesting that they are so technologically forward in such a technologically backward area. Dr. Brooks saved my wife yesterday!!!!! She was in horrible pain, no one would take us for two weeks, and her office told us to come in and she would fit us in. She examined my wife, showed us what was happening, a tooth infection and showed us on the monitor where it was. You could actually see it with the change in color! Dr. Brooks gave us treatment options and antibiotics, and was able to reduce her pain significantly. The cost for the service was better than reasonable (really she probably doesn't charge enough!) and my wife was finally able to get a good night's rest!!! The experience which I had at Dr. Brooks office was extremely negative. The first appointment I had confirmed online was lost so when I arrived I was turned away and had to reschedule. Second appointment for exam and X-rays was over 3 hours long. All teeth were x-rayed individually and the exam was lengthy and the most uncomfortable I have ever had. I assumed at the end of that experience that I would have a plan of action, but I had to schedule another appt. to even get the results. The next appointment I arrived and was put in a room to stare at walls for 45 minutes before Dentist came in. The next appt. was for bite adjustment which I was told was necessary. I had times during this experience that I thought I was going to choke because I was not allowed to close my mouth to swallow. This is definitely not gentle dentistry! After that experience, I sought a second opinion and found that the course of action she recommended was not only very expensive but would not produce a favorable outcome. Susan V read more

Go somewhere else to get new dentures. I got my new dentures from Dr. Brooks in May 2015, 2 teeth fell out of plate in August, mailed them back 2 weeks ago since I live out of town. I received them back four days, my front tooth fell out. VERY SHODDY WORK! Received a letter from her with the repaired teeth saying I would have to pay if it happen again. I had a slight crack in my upper denture. I found Dr. Brooks online. Walked in, without an appointment, but received my fixed denture by 1pm same day. The repair was above an beyond what I expected. Having recently moved to Florida.... I was in need of a dentist for an emergency. Her office was the only one in the area that was able to take me with such short notice.
