Smells like cows since the location is on a ranch, and if you're new to the area, namely foreigners, be sure to bring bug repellent or you'll be eaten alive by mosquitoes. I came home with nearly 10 bites per arm and leg. Dining at night we had wine, more cheese, salumi, and other finger food. We mostly ate at other ristorantes since this was for a week long wedding celebration. Nice interesting little place quite far from the mecca city. About 2 1/2 hours south of Rome, and 1 hour from Naples. Beautiful scenic drive along the hills and coast to get here. Nearby are small little shops and a little town.

The front desk staff were so sweet and accommodating.. they booked me a last minute room and it was for a solo traveler, since I was single, so it was small but adorable and luxurious and with the most incredible view of the ocean and pool. You can see all of positano from your balcony. I love the cool, clean and crisp ambiance here. There is already so much ancient architecture and history in Italy so it was nice to stay somewhere newer that felt clean and fresh. The all white is very calming yet there are pops of super cool art work and coffee table books around the hotel. We loved hanging out at the pool.. you can order drinks to the lounge chairs. And the restaurant next to the pool I went to everyday for lunch. I do wish they had more gluten free / vegan options actually on the menu.. seeing as it's a hotel with lots of travelers of different diets.. but they gave me a delicious fruit plate and fresh gluten free rolls with a side of avocado which I appreciated, and luckily I'm a light eater so this worked fine. The location was great right between Praiano and Positano. And they offer free shuttles to get around since there are no Ubers and rarely taxis on the Almafi coast.. so this was very helpful. The staff went above and beyond with every detail of our stay. I've stayed in world class hotels around the globe and there is always somewhat of a snobbery or just people who aren't friendly but here they were amazing, so kind and made the whole experience perfect so I would definitely return.

It's a little far from the Salerno train station, but I'm blindly loyal to IHG and it was the only one I the general area. The fridge was fully stocked with waters, Coke and sparkling peach juice. We decided to have dinner in our room since we had shopped at the grocery on the way here. Alice provided wine glasses, a wine opener, plates, napkins, utensils and most of all a warm bon apetito to us. The rooms are very large and extremely comfortable. A full couch, armoire, a desk, end tables and of course views. We have a corner unit so we have views from two angles. You must stay here and enjoy the reason we all want to come to Italy.
