We felt anything BUT included in this farce of a ceremony. IMHO there is an abject failure of leadership at this school...atmosphere was miserable to say the least.

This school is a terrific school, don't get me wrong(I also have a non disabled child attending), but as I have noticed over the past few years, it seems as if the special needs children are not receiving the attention they are supposed to and the support as well. Or maybe it's just my child they are picking on? Who knows. But any parent with a disabled child has numerous mixed feelings about schools. I have requested twice now, since the beginning of the school year 2012 for an IEP review for my child. They have yet to respond!!! They had me fill out a form stating I was being honest about living with my parents at this address and have it signed, sealed, dated by a notary. I thought the school had open enrollment? Never heard of such a thing for a parent to have to do, including giving a copy of a utility bill for proof of residence. It's ridiculous because they are an open enrollment school district. Other than that issue, the new elementary school is great, beyond words. The inside is kept very clean and well maintained. Some teachers are very kind and some could care less.. But I guess you'll have that at any school now a days. I, myself, would not put this school as my first option, without looking into other schools around the county...

When I went to the boys restroom inside, they had no hand dryer or paper towel dispenser. The metal detector is for students, staff, and visitors. However, during the event is where athletes and coaches did not have to go through the metal detector during the Andrus Classic. I will have to come back to Whetstone High School to watch an event there.

Our children especially love the summer program put on by the entire staff which is in a word 'Epic'. The school it's self is decorated in a way that our children are constantly finding something new on the wall paintings. Our children are sure challenged and the use of the Tadpoles system keeps up in constant contact with the teachers at the school and our children's progress. This is definitely a "school" as opposed to a daycare, when we moved our children here we saw and almost immediate difference in their vocabulary and skills. The parents are also very involved at the school which is a huge plus for us as it show a more community effect for which we are thankful for. If you so choose to enroll your children at the Worthington Goddard I believe that you will be happy that you did. The cost is only slightly more than we paid before but is well worth the value that you get when it comes to your child's education. At Worthington Goddard our children are definitely getting off on the right foot.

We have always felt that he has been provided with a safe and educational environment. The quality of his preschool experience has exceeded our expectations. Our son will often break out a fun fact or a sign language at a family event and ends up teaching us all. Overall, we have nothing but great things to say about the school and it's faculty.
