This particular instructor was completely rude to me personally, to other students and the classroom as a whole!!!! He was extremely knowledgeable with the material but is just NOT cut out to be a good instructor!! I feel that maybe this college needs to restructure this module so that students are NOT overwhelmed!!!! Just giving any good paying student this caveat!!!!!

I seem to always feel like an "Outsider", when substitute teaching here. There's a rather…read morenoticeable thin film of Pretentiousness when on their (what they call) Campus. The faculty seems polite, but unfortunately it's extremely hard to get to know them, since it is so spread out, and multiple buildings. It's a pretty building layout and design, but not too practical. Why? you ask. There are 6 buildings, all with different subject matters, dispersed, thus you have to travel a lot from building to building. Honestly, it thoroughly causes confusion - the buildings all look alike, brick, white pillars, a grassy quad separating the buildings. With all the money floating around New Albany, the district is able to offer unique elective classes that you won't find in many central Ohio school districts - a giant plus! Subbing jobs don't come up too often for the high school, so I take jobs here only if no other options are available.

My son has been coming here for almost 2 years. He started at age 4 for pre-k to prepare him for…read morekindergarten. They offer a stem-based learning which I feel properly prepared him for kindergarten. They also worked on writing his name, letter and number identifications. They provided 2 parent-teacher conferences during the year. They start in August and end in May. They also offer a graduation ceremony at a local school in the area and that was a very exciting time for my son. He also felt very accomplished. We also attended their summer program last year. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is their inability to alllow for select weeks, instead they make you attend every day for the full tuition. Unfortunately this summer we won't be needing that service and will be going to their competitor down the street as they accept certain days/weeks and charge you accordingly. With prices so incredibly high I was looking to save some money on tuition this summer. Pre K costs around $1200 a month. That's about the same for summer the summer program. Currently my son is enrolled in their sunrise program which picks him up from his elementary school when it ends and brings him back there for the afternoon. That runs at $520 a month. All meals are provided at primose and meals are very healthy which is definitely a plus. Staff is super friendly and knows you by name. Feels like a tight knit family. My son has definitely excelled attending primrose. The cost is definitely worth the knowledge and education they receive . My only request would be to make alterations on their summer enrollment and structure it more like their competitors. I'd much rather stay at primrose this summer.

We should have left when the school was on a two day gun violence lockdown but we persisted. That was an unfortunate mistake. After many referrals to this location we could no longer in good faith do so again. High School students for a number of…read moreyears, I must admit that the staff I met from the principal to the 3rd grade teachers exemplified what we want to see shaping our youth. By their positive and supportive actions with their students, teachers demonstrated a loving, caring, and nurturing model for individual and groups of students. As an educator, I witnessed teachers who gave of themselves to help build the character and moral fiber of their students. Students responded to the model set for them in that they we're recognized and awarded for "Good Citizenship" (how supportive kind, and encouraging they were to each other on a day-to-day basis). Parental involvement in children's education is encouraged by reading with their child at least 20 mins. a night and providing opportunities for children to continue reading on their own. A child's education in school is stressed as very important to success. Therefore, even if a child only attends school half a day because of a doctor's appointment Etc., it is important that they be in school the other half of that day. I was impressed by the rich learning environment and the positive responsiveness of the children I observed. In keeping with the importance of reading, I was encouraged that they were having a Book Fair while we were there which then carried over into the next day. Needless to say, I added to the support of the school and the children in our home by participating greatly in the Book Fair. I was told that they will provide another Book Fair next February. The school is in need of people who would be willing to volunteer their time and services to help in the Book Fair or just to assist teachers in the classroom.

The owner has been in childcare for a bit over 20 years because she has kids herself and a lot of them ranging from mid twenties down to elementary. The staff are respectful and well informed and go through a ton of training and I feel quite confident in their abilities to keep my baby's safe. AND they even offer a well rounded LEARNING environment which I feel like made these centers stand out more.

We had one of the worst experience at Michelle's Academy, they charges us even after they told us…read morethey dont have a place for my son. Also I was forced to pay late payment fees and non sufficient funds fees even though it was processing issue at their end. Sent them emails and called them but they are not responding and telling they cannot refund the extra weeks payment that they have deducted even after telling me not to send my kid as they dont have place. I would recommend to stay away from this place as they are scamming parents.
