I have had a chance to write a Google review for years, but I just have never been able to find the time to put all my thoughts into it. Now with summer vacation here- I can. I can say with complete confidence that this is the best dental care my family, friends, and I have ever received. Dr. Martino's practice blends genuine warmth with an array of state‑of‑the‑art technology--from amazing digital imaging--so every diagnosis and dental treatment feels faster, more accurate, and far less stressful than what my friends & family have experienced at other dental offices. What sets them apart is how responsive they are. Whenever I or any member of my family needs an urgent appointment and calls or texts the office, Melissa or Naica always find a way to fit us in with either Dr. Martino or Dr. Sceppaguercio quickly and compassionately. The staff are consistently friendly and professional; they remember names, explain all options clearly, listen closely to all of your concerns, let me talk to them incessantly, and make even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Dr. Martino deserves a Nobel Prize in 'Understanding Whatever Noise I Make While My Mouth Is Wide Open.' I'm basically speaking some sort of dolphin dialect and this guy still gets it He's basically part dentist/part wizard. Lynn my regular dental hygienist (who is ALWAYS AMAZING) is consistently upbeat and can translate my 'mmphh‑grrrl‑aaah' like she's got subtitles running in her head. Cheryl the dental assistant has been so wonderful recently as she is friendly and takes her time with me- every time. She also speaks fluent 'mouth full of tools, fingers and existential dread' I'm over here sounding like a malfunctioning robotic swamp monster and she's nodding like I just delivered a TED Talk. My family can't even understand me when I'm NOT at the dentist. Same with Dr. S.- I'm in the chair making noises like a rubber chicken being launched out of a cannon, and Dr. S replies, "Yes, that's a great question about ways to alleviate TMJ jaw pain- let me show you afterwards". The office itself is comfortable and convenient. There's good parking, a pleasant waiting area, and thoughtful touches throughout--like complimentary bottled water--that make visits more pleasant. Every aspect of the practice, from the welcoming front desk to the modern and recently updated treatment rooms, reflects a commitment to their patient comfort and exemplary care. Friends that I have referred here have thanked me as they feel they have finally found a dental team that they are comfortable with and provide amazing care. If you want dentists who combine modern dental technology with genuine, consistent, long‑term patient care, Dr. Martino & Dr. Sceppaguercio and their staff are outstanding. I recommend this practice without reservation.

The dentist and his wonderful staff but him at ease. The care and thoughtfulness has only grown over the years. From front desk to hygienists and the addition of Dr. Sceppaguercio has only made our trips to the dentist better. By the way we moved 2 years ago and travel an hour for visits. They are that great.

Well, well, well! Let's just say my journey with Magic Smile Dental started in September of 2014. I…read morewas 9 months pregnant and found myself in terrifying pain, dental pain that was! I received medical clearance from my OB-GYN and rushed myself into Magic Smile Dental. I was able to get an appointment the same day I received medical clearance. The staff was very attentive and nice. Doctor B was very alert and aware of my condition and was able to intervene and take me out of my misery. He used an anesthetic that would not harm my unborn, but would help me through the procedure. He did an pulpectomy(removal of the nerve) in a tooth that was infected. Wow! All the pain was gone! Eventually I gave birth and returned to finish up the root canal on that tooth. I loved their service and attentiveness that I even went on to do an implant that was needed from an extraction that was done 3 years prior to being a patient at Magic Smile Dental! Let's just say I am beyond pleased with the results of my dental implant that I have showed off my entire progress to all my family, friends, and coworkers! Approx 6 months for the entire completion of the implant(of course everyone is different) from bone grafting, post, abutment, impressions to actual placement. I have enjoyed every step of the way! Thank you Dr. B for the pulpectomy and implant. Also to Dr. Silva who completed my root canal. And of course to Justina the hygienist who is very persistent on educating me on primary prevention measures. And to all the dental assistants who put my comfort and needs above all expectations!!! I thank you all for your great service and dedication and more importantly for helping me become more aware with my dental health!!!! Cheers to continuing my dental services with amazing staff at Magic Smile Dental! Yours truly, Cassandra Fertig (I allow any photos posted to be used for educational and referencing purposes)

I visited this dental office about two weeks ago, and unfortunately, the experience left me…read moreextremely uncomfortable. I provided both of my dental insurance plans when I scheduled the appointment, and the office had both on file. The hygienist took my X-rays and examined me first. She told me she did not believe I needed a deep cleaning. However, when the dentist came in, she recommended a deep cleaning, crowns, fillings, and other dental work. Her approach felt extremely sales-driven and, honestly, predatory rather than focused on my actual dental needs. Afterward, I met with someone to discuss the cost. I quickly realized they had not factored in my husband's insurance. After going back and forth, I was eventually told, "We don't really accept or bill that insurance." This was incredibly frustrating because I had provided that insurance information before my appointment. Why wasn't I told this before I came in? I left feeling very uneasy about the entire experience and asked for copies of my X-rays. I then went to my husband's dentist in Linden and explained that I was considering a deep cleaning. Without knowing what Magic Smile had recommended, he reviewed my X-rays and said it did not appear that I needed one. His hygienist then examined and measured my gums and reached the same conclusion. Instead of trying to sell me unnecessary procedures, they gave me a thorough cleaning and explained that I simply needed to stay consistent with brushing, flossing, and routine care. My biggest takeaway: get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive dental work. In my case, two dental professionals independently agreed that I did not need the deep cleaning I was being encouraged to consider. That second opinion saved me from potentially paying for treatment I may not have needed.
