Olive Branch Park is a wonderful place, and we are lucky it to have in our fair little town. I have spent a ton of time here over the past twenty years. From park slides and swing days with the kids when they were little, to adventures in the wooded trail in the hidden areas, softball games, Pokemon Go days, to parades, 4th of July celebrations, the list goes on and on. I've probably walked 500 miles or more on these trails. The trails around the park are fantastic. You meet so many great people on any trek around the park. They keep the ponds stocked well with fish and there is a dock that takes you out to the middle of the largest pond. Please pay attention to the catch limits though. There is a dog park, many covered pavilions, grills to use for cooking, a very cool, all inclusive playground for the kids, and tons of baseball fields. They do Christmas lights around the Holidays that are pretty. The police presence is always pretty high. There is usually a cop in the park at all times and they do not play if you step out of line here. I dig that. We are very lucky to have this safe space for all families to visit and have fun. Today was such a beautiful day out! I really wanted to get the little guy out so I got them out! we met up with another friend of ours and had a play date with their little baby - it was a really nice day at the park- it was our first time at this visiting- there was so much to see from the ducks at the pond and soccer, field track, baseball, softball then they have a playground for toddlers just lots to see lots to do!! read more

I love the dog park and the swimming pond just for dogs but it's been closed for weeks at the hottest time of the year. I can't even take my pack of 3 because much crying and barking ensues to go swimming. There isn't any information about why or how long it will be closed. Such a bummer we can't enjoy the park. read more

This park is a great gem in OB. Typically, I take my niece and nephew to the park in Hernando, but we went here today instead and it was awesome. In the middle of the playground is a covered seating area with picnic tables which is great for parents to sit at. The park also has a really nice pond with geese and ducks. I saw several people letting their dogs take a dip in the water. In addition, there are short nature trails to walk on. It's a great way to have a fun, free day! read more

Want to experience a little piece of heaven in your back yard. Well, the Olive Branch City Park is that place. I went to the park before the gloom of the weekend set in and it was the perfect place to unwind from the typical stress of my day-to-day. I was there a little before sunset, and watching it sun (the sun) lower over the many lakes that the park features was magical. My dogs Pink and Coco even enjoyed their time walking around one of the two walking trails the parks features and chasing after the ducks. Although, you sometimes have to step over the goose and duck poop it does not take away the magic of the park. read more

Reserved the small Pavillion to host my Daughter's "I Do BBQ" Sunday, August 5. We set up a 3 room Wedding tent next to it for guest overflow. Between the 4 Benched tables provided and the additional 8 tables/49 chairs, we were all set. Plugged in the DJ and the party started!! There we're about 60 guests. It was absolutely one of the most spacious and relaxing spots I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Our guests enjoyed their visit so much that after the meal they hiked, fished, strolled, took to the playground with the kids, played basketball, and watched a collegiate baseball game! They were so thoroughly entertained by everything available at the park that every single one (me too) stated that we would be returning!!!
