He is serious about making your wedding an enjoyable success! When it comes down to the business, he knows all the ins and outs of how to get things done from making sure the wedding coordination and prep goes smoothly to guiding you through processing paperwork and licensing. He took extra time to meet and walk though the venue as he planned out and learned the names and relation of people in your party and family. He cares about giving the personal touch. We didn't have a coordinator beforehand, and fortunately for us, he ended up serving as a built-in coordinator on top of his many hats! His tips were invaluable. We are from L.A. and had planned to get our license here, but he saved us countless hours of standing in line by giving us the tip to wait and get to a smaller county office in SLO to eliminate wait times and have the processing of the paperwork go smoother and quicker. Well, he was right. He met us at the Atascadero office and we were the only ones there. We got through applying in a few minutes, and Rev. Mike took the paperwork to fill out from there as the officiant. He is hand-delivering it to be processed this week, just days after our wedding, and now we can get the ball rolling on getting our other important documents to state that we are legally married. He provided a great DJ and he played all the music we wanted with touches of his own that fit our tastes as he read the crowd. He kept all our guests on their feet and enjoying themselves well into the later evening. The ceremony music was cued right at the proper times by the Rev, and it added a perfect special touch that it was changed for each processional. Like I said, I can't say enough. Rev Mike Taylor does it all in his one stop all in one service. He met us when we requested and responded to texts/emails even during non-business hours. He cared that the work got done and it got done right, but he was also very diligent about making sure it was fun! He included all these great extras that really made a difference! He had a popcorn machine with different toppings that were a hit with kids and adults alike. He also include a "photobooth" area that he set up with his iPad and had his own props that saved us a lot over having an actual booth delivered, and our guests had a blast! Between that and getting people on the dance floor, people really had a great time and we were complimented as having one of the nicest weddings ever by many, and it was because the Rev knew when to isolate special keepsake moments, and exactly when to lighten and liven things up. He's a great guy with a big heart, and I hope that we'll get to keep in touch with him because he's the type of guy you want as a friend, too!

We live about 4 hours away from SLO county and it was really hard for us to be up there all the time to meet with vendors when we were planning our wedding. Paul understood this and arranged to meet with us in person to get to know us better. During our meeting, he asked us questions that made us really reflect on our relationship. He was able to use that one personal meeting to get a sense of my husband and I truly feel for each other and used that to write a wonderful ceremony for our wedding. Paul was very communicative through the entire planning process. He was also very flexible when we had to switch our wedding venue due to a last minute issue with the original one. He emailed us samples of personalized and I Do style vows. He also provided an excellent step by step instructions on how to obtain a marriage license through the county, which made it easy for us to apply for one and request certified copies when we went back to SLO about a month before our wedding day. Paul guided both my husband and I in writing our vows and creating a ceremony flow. On the day of the wedding, he arrived at the venue about half an hour early and checked in with us right away. He helped mingle with our guests and made them feel comfortable and welcomed. The ceremony itself was lovely and heartfelt. He had all our speaking parts printed out on cream colored card stock paper and he held on to our rings for us. We had a very small wedding and did not have a wedding entourage to do this for us, so he stepped in did this for us. His communication did not stop even after the wedding day. A few weeks later, he sent us a lovely email to check in on our honeymoon and to send us the card stock containing our vows and speaking parts. We cannot express how much we appreciate everything Paul did to make our wedding day special. He was very calming and put both of us at ease. Thank you, Paul!
