We had KODA Carpet Cleaning clean some carpets for ours toward the end of 2023. While the representative was cleaning, we mentioned that we had some gift certificates for Randy's Carpet Care that we needed to use. The representative told us not to use them, as they were in the process of acquiring Randy's Carpet Care, and he'd prefer that we used the certificates with them after they acquired Randy's. We explained they expired soon, and he said not to worry about the expiration date and they would honor them. Fast forward a year and KODA is refusing to honor the certificates. They then tried to tell us there was no way the employee would have known back then they were buying Randy's Carpet Care (which is 100% false -- he was in our kitchen when he told my wife and I this). He also told us how he used to date the owner's daughter and other things. Beyond frustrated with this company. We've always promoted them on Facebook when people are asking for suggestions with carpet cleaning, so it's sad this is how our relationship ended. It's important, though, that a company stand behind what their employees tell someone. You should be able to trust that. As a representative of the company, what the employee said should be honored.

We hired Daane's Designs LLC to do a ceramic tile job of 1130 sq ft. After the job was complete we…read morehad to have them reclean due to the mess they left. Cement dried all over our new deck and siding. The tile job looks terrible. The grout lines are uneven, some lines don't have hardly any grout in them. Which will be an issue when water gets on floor and its not sealed with grout. Hard to vacumm or sweep do to the extremely deep grout lines in many places. The tiles are cut too short in places , so much so that trim wont cover. They damaged our freshly painted walls so the point we had to have them cleaned, mudded, sanded and repainted again to the sum of 895.00 The tiles are unlevel, some dip down and some are raised to the point they catch your toe when walking. We had a local tile company come in and give us an estimate on how to fix and cost of their botched job. The amount for the whole job, ripping it all up, reinstalling labor charge would be 10k, not including the 5k for materials. Just to fix the worst area that people see the most, will cost us over 1000 to repair. And that's only small area. When talking to the owners BF, he told us to just put furniture or room/area rugs over what we don't like. That was his solution to the issues. He refused to come to house and let us show him whats all wrong. He also refuses to look at our hundred pictures we took all of all the botched areas and damage they caused. At this point no resolution has been made. We have been in contact with attorney and advised not to pay the full remaining balance. Just to be done with this matter, we offered to take the 1000 and the 895 off of the balance we have to pay in repairs and a little extra over that due to fact that job was not done correctly and will cause many issues in the future. They will not take any responsibility for their botched job! I would never recommend this lady for tiling. Very unprofessional and irrational. I have many many pictures of my statements here.
