I asked for clarification since that instruction didn't match where I was on the road, but he repeated "go right" several times. So I followed his direction exactly as stated, even though I knew it wasn't correct, because he insisted multiplee times! Afterward, instead of acknowledging the confusion, he made comments about my disabilities and told me to "stop making excuses" and "you have a lot of diseases all of a sudden" when literally all I said was that I have dyslexia & Autism and need his instructions to be clearer... I wouldn't be as upset about failing if it were because of my OWN mistake, but in this case, the error happened because of unclear and inconsistent instructions from the instructor. So Long story short, he told me to cut across lanes and cars to make a right turn instead of letting me take the left and correct it. When I asked for clarification multiple times, he got irritated and repeated "go right," so I did, and then he failed me for following his OWN instructions.

I went through the Audi Training Program afterwards, and have seen reward from this. The teachers (for the most part) are excellent, and very well trained. They know what they're talking about, and a genuinely interested in your education. The other staff are very friendly and helpful. On the downside, the facility is run down. Alit of equipment needs to be repaired. Alit of the training aids need to be updated. Also, the staff are poor at communicating. It's hard to find information and figure out what is going on sometimes. Also the school doesn't like to give snow days. Often I've had to drive through terrible conditions to get to school. And even when there are snow days,vthey don't tell you the day before, like everyone else. They call you at 5 or 6 AM that day. School starts at 7AM, so if you live farther away, you might not find out until too late. The dorms are horrendous, so don't even consider them. They are rampant with drugs, alcohol, fights, and prostitutes. They don't even get a 1 star. Don't live in the dorms. To be honest, I'd give the Lincoln Tech experience a 3.8 star out if 5. It's a good school, but there's also alot of room for improvement. The career services department is excellent as well. Jenn Nunes has found me excellent job opportunities. Also to note, the Student Supervisor Aaron Oates is very good at his job. I go to him whenever I have a question is misunderstanding, and he's very helpful.

I completely understand the struggles of a new business, however when you do not acknowledge your mistakes and you treat anyone as if they are inadequate. It's not a good look for the business! Rita shows a beautiful smile in the beginning however, I didn't find her to be very patient or polite under pressure. She's overbooked, and is holding to many hats. It seems to me like she disregards those she seems are invalid. I have observed her behavior towards, others, to myself and kids . It isn't professional at all. It's unfortunate because I really enjoy the curriculum. It's sad that we have allowed this beautiful store front business owner, to teach our kids. I would rather give my business to a private tutor, another Mathnasium or someone that genuinely loves kids. Please watch your kids, ask them how it's going! Pop in! There is NOTHING wrong with community college. I went to NWCC for my first two years to get my AS…read morein Marketing & Sales. Many students fresh out of high school think that going here will look "bad" in the long run when transferring, and finding a career, but I strongly disagree. Professors Valerie Royals and Dr. David Rodgers are great. I took classes in communications, micro/macro economics, financial/managerial accounting, all of my general ed classes, etc. And guess what? They ALL transferred to the University of Hartford, all 60 credits. Many of the full time staff and adjunct teachers have real-world experience and incorporate that into every day lessons. Some also teach part time or night classes at UCONN or UHART. I also remember having a professor in marketing who worked full-time for Pfizer, and a professor and mathematics who works full-time at the Hartford. I can't guarantee that those same people will still be there now, but when I can tell you is that this experience was not only great, but I was able to commute from my house extremely easily, and it saved me tons of money! I am now out of college debt-free because I started off I community college. To put it in perspective, I spent two years here, that's four total semesters as well as a few summer classes here and there to speed up the process. Each semester ran me about $1750 not including books. Books or anywhere from $3-$500 depending on the semester. This is pennies on the dollar compared to the university I transferred to! I also can't say with 100% confidence these prices because are the same because this was about 3+ years ago and I'm sure they have risen but they are most definitely cheaper then any state school or university! Some other perks about Northwestern are: free printing from the library, free tutoring assistance for classes, small class sizes, office hours with professors, opportunity for extra credit, activities part provided by the school and clubs to participate in!
