Not for me. I did not care for the environment, I did not care for the constant having to mix of hair products, did I say I didn't care for the environment? I didn't care for the background music - I don't care for the products that they also sold me and I used. Their prices are outrageous. It was an uncomfortable experience, and I'm quite certain that I didn't care for the way that they styled or cut or colored my hair. I did not return. I would suggest these are possibly just a personal decision but my hair did not come out well overall either. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JEWEL I have been going to this salon for over a year starting out with brown hair, asking to go blonde. I have had the same hairstylist the entire time. She has been very unconsistent with her work..she continuously hid her mistakes and said that when the hair was wet that it was just wet blonde hair and once dried you could clearly see that I had large patches and chunks of brown hair left still AFTER an entire year of going to her at this salon to have my hair blonded. That was my last time there. She also charged me almost $350 for that last time when I was paying NOWHERE near that much every 6 to 8 weeks....am very disappointed in her work and I would NEVER recommend JEWEL. Maybe someone else at the salon she works at is better with customers and making sure the hair is done completely professionally. I actually was very disappointed in this Hair salon. I was excited about going here, because they were in the top 3 of best salons in Bay County. It wasn't bad, just not what I wanted. I did find them a bit pricey for a hair cut, $60. The top of my hair was left too long, making it flat and I wanted heavy short layers, but received long layers and not choppy like I wanted it. The salon itself is very nice and modern and the staff is nice. I just moved here from NY and can't find anyone here to do my hair right. I'm going to NY, just to go to my old hairdresser, so she can correct my haircut. I'm afraid now to go to anyone down here for my hair. read more

Had a great experience here at a Olivia Lane with my stylist Jewel. She was very easy going, knew exactly what I wanted and did a great job. I know I have a ton of hair and it can be a lot to manage but she did a great job. I truly appreciate the straight forward pricing at the beginning of the appointment where everything is broken down so there is no register shock. Not to mention the nice and clean decor inside. I love all of the OL stylists! Renee started out as my stylist but quickly became one of my most favorite people in life. She is a mind-reader when it comes to hair, always knows what is trending, & what will/won't work with my fair skin. She is simply THE best. She has been doing my hair for 9 years now. I moved 800 miles away 4 years ago and I still figure out a way to get in her chair as often as possible. Not only is Renee an amazing stylist, she is also the greatest mentor to the stylists in her salon. I went there for a hair cut today. I am so tired of bad hair cuts. Will not go back. I guess I'll have to go to Panama City to fix this one. I don't want to travel 1 hour for a hair cut, but I guess I will have to. I don't believe it. Don't thin fine hair!!!! I'm a licensed hair dresser from NY and can't get a hair cut in this area. It's either travel 1 hour to Panama City for a hair cut, or 5 hours to Clear water. I left crying. To make matters worse, some idiot old man is talking to her while she is cutting my hair...Really???? Don't distract her.....what else could have gone wrong....Already went to Paradigm once to fix the last butcher job from Styling Salon in Chipley. Guess I'll have to wait 6 months for it grow out and then go back to Paradigm to have this one fixed..Holy Shit, go back to school you people.
