After being shooed away from the nail salon down the street I decided to stop by this shop. When I walked in there were only a few people working. To my surprise, I waited a whopping 5 minutes. Once I sat down with Vanessa I explained to her that I was anemic so my nails are thin, brittle and soar from other salon's neglect. There was no language barrier and she understood the assignment! She filed my nails by necessity but only to the point of removing the shine. Once the tips were glued on, Emily came to finish the job. She was fast yet accurate. Anyways, I walked in hoping to get my nails done for my birthday tomorrow because another salon did the acrylic so thin last Saturday 2 have already broken off. I was told there's only 2 people working today and one of them only does pedicures. I'd understand if it was a Tuesday but today is Thursday. It's almost the weekend. Ironically, the name of this salon is Posh; however, there is nothing "posh" about it! From the stained chairs that are supposed to be white, to the acetate eaten arm rests of the massage chairs, and everything in between! I was in town from Vegas for my high school reunion, and made arrangements at this place for my friend and I b/c it was the closest to her residence, and it was called "Posh". It was AWFUL! I asked for a seasoned manicurist for my friend b/c she rarely gets manis and pedis, so I wanted it to be enjoyable, come to find out, it was the girl's first day! Their products are so cheap that the polish chipped the FIRST day on her toes and fingers! My experience was HORRIBLE! Luckily, I just had a pedicure, but that girl (part owner) dug into my toe nails so badly that it hurt to walk! I've had COUNTLESS pedis and I've never had such a rough experience! Then, the next day my left big toe was swollen, and had a discharge, it was infected, that comes from unsanitary practice. The final straw, I heard from my friend that she had "crust" around her toe, she either had an infection FUNGUS! So sad, I wanted to give her a wonderful treat, and it was TERRIBLE! RUN, DON'T WALK TO ANOTHER SALON. TRUST ME, YOU DON'T WANT TO GO HERE! read more

I love this place. The nail techs are very nice and talkative. They make you feel at home when you walk in. They have always done a wonderful job on the pedicures and manicures I've had. I have visited other nail salons and have NEVER revisited them. I will only use POSH Nail Salon for my mommy days out. It's a very relaxed by experience with great techs! I have been a client since they opened and I am now changing to another salon. The clutter and mess are overwhelming me. The dirty chair mentioned in the review two years ago is still there. My husband refused to sit in it while waiting for me. I really like the owner and all of the techs but I am fed up. I told the owner that the place was a mess. Also there is always food and drink setting around on manicure tables and often there is a child or two there all day. I want a clean comfortable salon. read more

They definitely need to improve! - The place feels dirty and the staff does not get along - but it was not always this way - They once had an awesome place with another owner/manager but since she moved away the place has gone down hill and unfortunately many of their "regular" customers have left too. read more

In the past I would go to Posh Nails for pedicures and manicures often. It's not what it used to be. My pedicure was so rushed. She was done in 20 minutes. If I'm paying for a service I expect treatment. Felt like I went to the drive-thru. So while I'm sitting here finished my friend is just getting polished. I won't be back! read more
