I honestly can't believe that I have to write this review - I was excited to use a local business…read morewhen I needed to send birthday flowers to my friend in Mays Landing. I placed my order directly on thier website on a Monday - requesting a delivery for Saturday. They delivered a day early...which wasn't a big deal - though it would've been nice for them to be delivered ON her birthday as requested. Upon receiving the image of the arrangement from the recipient, I was heartbroken. I ordered a pastel themed arrangment that boasted Stargazer lilies and roses and received a bouquet in "brights" featuring Carnations and Daisies!! Needless to say, I immediately reached out to County Seat to find out what happened. My interaction with John, the owner, was quite "challenging" from the start. He left a me a very defensive voicemail when returning my call (before I even spoke to him). When I returned his call, all he wanted to do was tell me I was wrong...his comments were often hypocritical/incorrect and he didn't listen to what I was saying. Instead he continued to tell me that what they sent was great! He even said "if I'd seen the order, I would never have taken it b/c it said no substitutions" yet, they took the order and filled it poorly. He also said if they need to substitute flowers, they still keep the color scheme (which they did not!) He then offered to go "pick up the bouquet" but NOT give me a refund!! I calmly explained that I was very dissatisfied and felt that he was saying all this stuff before even seeing what was sent...so I offered to send him a side by side image of what was ordered vs what was sent. That was on Sat 4/10/21...it is now Tues, 4/13/21 and I've never heard back from him at all. I've followed up twice on e-mail with no response. So, yeah, I guess I'm out $55 (pre delivery charge) for carnations and daisies.

My friend showed me a picture of what she got; it couldn't have looked less like what I ordered. I ordered a beautiful pale pink and white arrangement; hers was red and bright pink, the garnishes weren't the same, the flowers were different, it was not arranged anything like the photo, and it looked like a downgraded arrangement - meaning, a $100 arrangement looked like a $69.99 one. it was terrible. I will never use them again.

They were extremely difficult to get a hold of and when they finally did get back to me, they were very rude and not accommodating what so ever. I was planning an intimate ceremony a few months away and I only needed a bouquet and boutonnière. I offered to pick up and would have been happy to do so the day before. They refused my business and made me feel like they only wanted big weddings with a big budget. I found another florist who was more than happy to make the arrangements I needed and she even got back to me while she was on vacation. I will never recommend Manic Botanic to anyone. Horrible experience and horrible customer service.

The staff are knowlabout the plants and make time to answer questions about caring for the plants. The prices for some fall products were 50% lower than Lowes & Home Depot. The quality of the plants in my novice opinion is better.
