Cheap, I was looking for books, and i really liked all, at least for my goal it was very good

Every now and again I will pop into Ollie's looking for the odd item or two. I know that it usually a 50-50 chance that I'll find what I'm looking for. There is also a good chance that you'll find something that you weren't looking for as well. They are generally well stocked in a variety of categories - whether you are looking for books, home decor, yard items or clothing they probably have something that you can use or want to buy. This is definitely a place where you could end up with a few impulse purchases if you're not diligent. Even with the appearance of chaos most things are always well-categorized so it is easy to determine what aisle or section of the store that you might find an item. The only interaction that I tend to have with employees would be at check-out. I don't think that I've ever seen anyone that works there walking around or stocking. I've never had a bad experience shopping here. Finally, most of the time the prices are reasonable, and you get what you pay for. I have noticed that sometimes bank and credit cards will have a cashback or discount option when shopping at Ollie's. Finally, the store is located in a shopping plaza that share a reasonably sized parking lot with other stores and a Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

This was my first time in Ollie's. It was sensory overload. They had everything in there. From grocery items to clothing, books and housewares and everything in between. It's a discount store and from the looks of it seems to have some good deals on items. I was with my children so I couldn't look at the Toy area like I wanted but i am definitely going back for some Christmas stocking stuffers for sure read more

Although I am a HUGE fan of Ollie's in general, and even moreso around the holidays, this particular Ollie's was small, disorganized, and cluttered. The service was fine once I got to the cash register, but there was no one walking around to stock, clean up, or direct people. The selection at this location was less than normal, especially when it comes to the snacks and candy section. It was pretty sad actually. Value at Ollie's is what it is, not great, dollar store value at more than 5 Below prices, and some things identical to retail. read more

I have been a customer at this location since it opened. Today I stopped in for a couple of things and as I was walking down the detergent aisle a couple of mice ran right across of me. I informed the cashier and I kindly ask her to pass the info to management. So please wash your hands thoroughly after you leave the store and do not open anything until you get home and have the opportunity to sanitize your items. read more

Discount store with pretty good prices! The books is where I go first every time and I have found amazing hard cover books for just a few bucks. I buy great discounted dry foods here as well. Cat and Jack brand from Target often finds its way to the kids clothes. When Toys R Us went out of business they bought all the toys and carts. read more

An overstock and bulk discount location with a variety of items. The largest section is most definitely the books, and we love going through them and seeing what we can find. Most recently we found some adorable small board books by Disney for only $0.99 each, and these were easily $5 each originally. Grabbed up a few for Christmas stocking stuffers for our munchkin. They also have household goods, linens, outdoor items, carpets, toys, food and bathroom staples. It's a fun location to just kinda walk through and see what you find. If you like candles or plug-in refill scents, this is a great place to get them way cheaper than normal. The checkout moved quickly despite that small line that formed. Staff was fine - you'll only see them really at the check-out as it's not really an associate / sales floor team kinda place. Overall: A A fun place to walk around and see what you find. Visited this location on a quick trip to the area. They had a great assortment of items at discounted prices. I especially enjoyed the book section. The cashier was very pleasant. The store itself felt a little disorganized and picked over and the space feels old and a little dilapidated. But the place is huge and has a lot of treasures if you have the time and patience to look. I'd definitely return again on my next trip to the area. read more

I've been to a number of Ollie's locations, and this one is my favorite. The number one reason I come to Ollie's is their comic books. They have an amazing selection of trade paperbacks for around 80% off list price. The selection doesn't turn over much, so you really only need to come here every few months or so. If you're an Ollie's Army member you can periodically get a coupon for 15% off your purchase. There's also Ollie Days with a similar deal. Those are the events I plan my visits around. If you collect comics you need to check out Ollie's at least once. read more

I popped into Ollie's out of boredom and was pleasantly surprised by the outdoor pillows that I found. They were made of good quality material and had a zipper. It's important to me to be able to clean the cover in the washing machine when necessary. There were two huge boxes filled with pillows but only two of the quality and color that I wanted. The store was filled with lots of odds and ends. Some of good quality and some not. The prices were fair to excellent. read more

I've always wanted to check this place out...today was the day! First off, wow! This place is huge! Packed full of random good prices! Just about everything for the home, books, toys, non perishable food stuff, flooring, rugs and outdoor gardening stuff! This place can take easily an hour to cover. My favorite areas? The book area. Having a 7 year old, lots of good reading at great prices. This is great inexpensive place for a childs birthday or shower gift (activities and toys also). In the home dept. loved the selection of inexpensive scatter rugs and outdoor ceramic planters. This was really just an explore trip for us, walked out with 4 bags of purchases! I been here a few times... place is not the cleanest but they sure have some great deals, my opinion it's better than big lots. They buy out stores and sell their merchandise cheaper. From books, food, cleaning stuff, arts, decoration, gardening, car stuff, home repair stuff, house hold goods to as seen on tv items... plus tons of toys. They even sell electronics Anytime I need to buy something I stop here first before going anywhere else, most of the merchandise is brand names and some are not. Reason why I say it's not to clean is because it was an old Kmart they just cheaply put back together with no thought on looks and more on functionality. Customer services depends on who is working honestly. They could be really pleasant or just not helpful at all.. at times it feels like only three people are working with only one register... but to keep cost down I can wait a bit longer in line. In all I have saved a ton compared to Lowe's and Home Depot on most items I buy... I recently got a well made very large pot for gardening I knew was like 60-80 dollars for like 20 bucks... weed killer I pay 17 bucks I paid 8 bucks. On toys for parties for young kids is a great place to shop... I did xmas shopping last year for friends kids and others and only spent like 80 bucks in a total of like 6 kids and gave them multiple gifts. They have a reward program u get 15 percent off all ur first purchase after ur free sign up and every so often get an email for discounts. I strongly suggest u try it first before going to a big chain store. read more

This is my first time at this location in the state of Florida. Have been to Ollie's before in NC. This location was much bigger and provided more options compared to Grenville. Came in for Weed Mats which were a great price compared to Amazon. Will be back for special specials. read more

Tip - sign up for their loyalty plan to get coupons. I love a good bargain. Ollie's being only 5 minutes from my house is dangerous. Hence their name, they are a bargain outlet. With the name comes a selection of a variety of products and sometimes not the best organization. However, to me, the great deal I am getting supersedes the disorganization. I have bought books, kid toys, Christmas decorations, car items, various household items and a few food items. Tip - the food items are a great deal, however, make sure you check the expiration date as it may be creeping up. I even recently took the boyfriend because we were looking for a unique gift for a family member. We didn't find the gift for the family member but he did walk out with some items for himself. This place is interesting, and everything here is pretty fairly priced They have large sections of the store for different needs. They have a home/garden section, pets, book, snack/candy, cooking and discout section. Think of Big Lots, but much more affordable and a store twice as large! The new manager at this store makes a world of difference! The store is clean, neat and orderly. The shelves are organized and things are easy to find. He was out greeting customers when I noted the change- books not thrown all over, etc. that's when he shared he was the new manager and clean up was his goal. This Ollie's in Casselberry, FL highered my Autistic daughter. She is the hardest worker, just doesn't always understand social nuances. She's the sweetest kid, and always wants to help everyone. She worked all the time, would go in anytime they called on her off day. The company is constantly on their employees about signing people up for their discount card and telling people they can get discounts. My daughter would scan her own discount card or give her own coupons to customers who didn't want to sign up for it (you know, because the company told her she's supposed to be trying to give these discounts). I've had employees at many different stores do things like that for me. Nobody ever told her she shouldn't. Nobody ever said anything until they treated her like a criminal, told her she lost $800 for them, trespassed her, and escorted her out!! when they asked her why she did it, she answered, "I was just trying to help." I understand not everyone really knows what autism is, and I understand this might be against their policy, but it could have and should have been handled very differently. This is extremely disgusting for a company to treat a disabled employee this way! read more

Ollie's is a kind of closeout bargain store. I think they do buyouts of excess inventories. The store is packed full of stuff of all different categories. If you shop you here you may find some really good bargains. You have to browse around and look. It also helps a lot to know pricing of the the things you are looking for. I bought an ATV cover from them once at what I thought was a great price, but it was made of flimsy material, and lasted no time at all. read more

This place is absurd and amazing at the same time If you're brick and mortar shopper (you don't use Amazon) this place has some pretty good bargains and a very very large variety of goods. Rugs, pet supplies, toys , books, home goods, small kitchen appliances, outdoor/patio grills & chairs. Too much to remember. I don't advise buying food products here. Many items past to the expiration date or very close. I've seen Ollie's beat Amazon prices only on a few occasions but very seldom. Just depends how badly you want to pinch your penny and save some bucks. Synopsis: A wonderland for the bargain shopper (but check the amazon price before you buy). I love this place. Dog beds from $7.99! Books at less than $5.00 (some bestsellers). It's hard to describe Ollie's because they basically sell EVERYTHING. My best advice is to spend a while just walking the store to see what amazing bargains you can find. Today's wins: Two dog beds for $16, a Nylabone for $5, birthday card for 99 cents, contractor trash bags for $6! They have a pretty amazing rug and flooring section in the back.
