It had the aroma of books -- old books, to be precise. It's in a nondescript strip center and is very ordinary looking from the outside. It has a warehouse feel. Walking in, I could tell it wasn't what I was expecting -- a warehouse -- but more of a treasure trove of books, vinyl, DVDs, comic books, sheet music, and a few miscellaneous antiques. I can't say I figured out how it was set up, certainly by section, but there were hardcovers and paperbacks of many genre scattered. Or at least it seemed that way. Each section was roughly sorted alphabetically by author, so that made searching easier. I didn't see a lot of duplication in titles. I had only a limited amount of time before they closed. It was a kid-in-a-candy-store moment; too much to explore and limited to what I could grab in the short window of time I had available. It wasn't nearly enough to do the exploring I wanted. But, with that said, I did manage to pick up a couple of titles I haven't seen by authors I have and that was a win for me. As with most used bookstores, the price is about half of the cover price, except for the first edition, rare books, or collectibles. It's a good place to try out a new author or series without the financial commitment of a new bookstore; or if you want to try your luck with the comic books or vinyl. There's a separate display case of Elvis recordings and memorabilia -- this is Tennessee, after all, and I'd expect nothing less. Just a fun store all around.

If you're a fan of physical books and are Christian this is a great place to visit. It has a cozy…read moremountain charm decor and a pleasant atmosphere . They have plenty of seating where you can spend some time reading and relax. I usually come here for Christian greeting cards or to gift someone a Bible (they have an option to engrave in the store and gift wrap). Parking is easy and free in front of the store. The only suggestions I would make is to improve their coffee quality and sell baked goods so people can hang out and eat, open later hours in the evening and host events for the community. Customer service is nice and they gift wrap for a small fee which is convenient. If you're curious about a Christian author and don't want to buy the book online then you can check it out here first. Buy it in the store and support local.

What if I bought 4 or 5 books and spent over a $100 and it's raining outdoors, my books would get wet or I would have to spent 5 bucks on one of their bags. This is unacceptable. I will never step foot in this store again, I will my books and supplies elsewhere.

I did purchase the bag reluctantly because I could not carry it all. I will not be going back to this store because of that tactic.
