Filthy disgusting. The bathrooms are unsanitized. The price is on as low as they should be. Customers are more smarter than the people that check you out when you go to the checkout lanes, rude girl, redheaded, young, redheaded, stupid, and very rude object, objects in the middle of the the the floor you could trip and kill yourself anytime of the day like I said the bathrooms are on sanitized you go in there. You can get some kind of STI and people don't know how to count change there or give you your correct change back low end never a good bargain. read more

Good store. Prices are decent and the selection is pretty good. However the sign outside says "@Building 19." Make no mistake about it. Ollie's is a good store. Cheaper than Job Lot most times. But it is certainly NO Building 19! I miss BLDG 19 So much, I remember them vividly! The stores would be cluttered, dark, dingy and the whole store smelled like musty tires. The food was expired, the clothes were outdated and dusty, the electronics were questionable but damn was it ever a treasure of a store for New England! Ollie's doesn't have that same factor as Building 19 did. The store is too bright, there's no musty smell from the clothes. It doesn't look like you're shopping in someone's aunts basement. Ollie's is trying too hard to be BLDG 19 Long after they left. While the store itself is a great spot to get cheap stuff, and they still use plastic cards for their rewards memberships. This place will never be comparable to the store where you could get gummy worms that expired in 2005, a hideous 80's floral shirt, and a mattress all for under $40. Miss it so much. read more

This place is nice. They have everything from books to food, electronics and furniture. They have a lot of cookbooks to choose from. Even cookbooks I never would have thought existed. It's extremely rare but if you're lucky you might find WWE action figures. They sell them for $10 instead of $20-$25 like other stores. Unfortunately they put the price sticker on the front. I don't know why anyone would even consider putting a sticker on the front of a collectible item, the sticker should be on the bottom. I come in here to look at the food. You won't believe the deals you can get. Sometimes they even have organic foods for cheap. The employees are nice. read more

Manager never showed up. I had purchased two toys for their toy drive and they supposedly were collecting them in a box but the cashier told me "they had not set it up yet." I went back to the Woonsocket store the next day because two items were missing from my bag and noticed they never put a box for toy donations. I asked for the manager and was ghosted. They keep me waiting over a half hour and no one ever came to talk to me. --- BEWARE--- I think they are just putting the toys back on the shelves and reselling them. read more

As a book junkie, I do truly enjoy coming here to poke around. Although a lot of their reading material is religious (& I am not), the kids books, home deco books and non-fiction books are great. You can find real gems in this semi-ghetto store. Make sure you check the expiration dates on food items as they get all stock from other retailers, some things have been sitting around for a long time. Health and beauty items are hit or miss (mostly misses). You can find brand name clothing items like Champion and Levi's jeans. Home decor and furnishings are pretty cheap quality but like I said, sometimes you can find something really great and unexpected. I come to Ollies maybe once a month. That's enough time for their stock to circulate enough. All in all, if you're into stores like Ocean State Job Lot and Big Lots, you'd probably like Ollies as well! read more

I live 30 minutes away. I purchased a carpet (only one that color, quality and the most expensive priced). They pulled it up to the register, tagged it with my name. I went home to get my truck. When I returned an hour later they GAVE it to another customer. read more

Located inside the old Building 19 store is Ollies bargin, which is basically Building 19 but with more product and a new mascot with the same artist rendition of the new ownership. Inside you will find priced down items, if you look hard enough you can find a bargain. I picked up at $20 hard cover book for only $3.99! They also have seasonal products at a fair price. I think Ollies is a step up from Building 19. read more

Even though it's been open for more than two months now, I just found out that Ollie's had opened into the Woonsocket Plaza along Diamond Hill Road in Woonsocket. I had always wanted Ollie's to move a little closer to home, as the first and only other time I had been there was in New York. Even though they haven't moved into Massachusetts yet, this location is still not too far away. And at the same time, it's fabulous for certain discounts, but in comparison to the larger more "fully stocked" location in Niagara Falls NY, it's only worthy of 4 stars. It's much smaller, doesn't have the selection or in a such delirious state. The deals are still fabulous though, and even while this whole area is sad and vacant, this place brings a TON of life to Diamond Hill Road (which is something it REALLY needed) I can say that I'm glad they opened here, not only is there an Ollie's MUCH closer to my house now, but any business that opens in the sad ruins of what is called Diamond Hill Road needs to be recognized! Lowe's and Walmart's buildings need to be filled next! Check it out..... it's a different kind of discount store that is one of it's kind throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Maybe, one day, they will, in fact, open in the Bay State, and I won't have to make the 40 minute trip. 4 stars. read more

This place is a hidden gem. I love children's books and this store has a fast variety to chose from. I am so luck it opened when it did because it was a life saver for Christmas gifts. The store is clean and always stocked. Like most bargain stores what you see is what you get. They never know what is coming in on the truck so if you want something the first time you should grab it. My only flaw with this store is it takes about 40 minutes to drive to. With a business like this I am sure another location will pop up in the near future. I defiantly recommend stopping by. read more

Ollie's is a Building 19 knockoff, but cleaner and more organized. The signs and even the slogan are almost identical to Building 19. The store itself is like a cross between Building 19 and National Wholesale Liquidators. Some stuff is cheap, but some things are way overpriced. I went there to get shampoo and conditioner that was discontinued a while ago. They are good for discontinued closeout items like that. read more

l was in the store shopping Christmas Eve 12/24/19 5:05 Pm when I witness the manager of the store being very rude to a female African American customer. The lady was at the register to pay and her card did not go through. She stated that she was having someone bring money inside to pay for her purchase. She asked the male manager wearing glasses and a black sweat jacket. If he could please suspend the transaction or void the order. He rudely stated that he was not able to perform that request and he could not be waiting all day because the store would be closing at 5:30 pm. That is when the female stated that it is only 5:05 pm and if you can suspend or transaction you can help other customer he still declined to do. At this point he was not rolling his eyes and sucking his teeth. This experience made me feel awful to watch I felt bad for the woman that was Christmas shopping that the manager embarrassed her in front of a store full of people. For items that she stated more than once she was going to purchase and pay cash. The way you store treats its paying customers I will never shop here again. Hopefully you can work on better management going forward. read more
