The women up front were kind and helpful. I had a large amount of dry cleaning that needed to be done quickly. They said no problem even though they still had to tag all 36 items before closing in 20 min. Their customer service was exceptional. They do not send your clothing off site, which I like. Had a bad experience with another cleaners losing multiple items. They assured me that this will not be a problem. I am very happy with them thus far! read more

That address is not correct. Bennett is in Southern Pines, not Pinehurst. There is a different, excellent, dry cleaners at that address. I will not name them less they be caught up in this negative review group. read more

Lost my business Items not ready when they say they will be - 3 times that happened. Alterations are EXPENSIVE in comparison to other outfits in the area. read more

This place is super expensive to clean a comforter and it takes them at least 5 days, which they do warn of ahead of time. When I picked up my comforter after being dry cleaned it smelled terrible like chemicals and had strings and snags hanging from it. Will never use them again. read more

These people routinely screw up my cleaning. Putting creases where I didn't want, starching when asked not to, dry leaning when i asked for laundering. They have gotten a few things right, and the have done a good job with replacing buttons. But I'm going someplace else. read more

They lost my business over $10 today. The front girl told me that if you bring in 10 items or more you get a 15% discount. The next time I brought in 14 items, a different front girl was there and wasn't aware of the discount; she said that she's a "presser" and was making extra money by working the front but that if the other girl told me that, it was true. I picked up my cleaning today and the original front girl was working. When I asked her about the discount she said I had to bring in 10 pieces of laundry or 10 pieces of dry cleaning. I told her that I brought in 14 pieces of dry cleaning, she said "no, you have 5 pieces of laundry and 9 pieces of dry cleaning", I told her I'd asked for everything to be dry cleaned. She said "did you say no starch?", I had, and she said "well, laundry is no starch, you shouldn't have said anything about the starch". Seriously? The girl who checked my clothes in asked me about the starch after I asked for everything to be dry cleaned, I told the girl of my exchange with the presser and her comment to me was "well, sorry about the mix up, you'll know now for next time". What kind of racket are those two running? There won't be a next time. They're not the only cleaners around. I'll be taking my cleaning to a business with integrity. read more

I took my down comforter and two others to Olmstead because it was close and convenient, however bad idea. They didn't label one of my items so it took forever to find. They just rolled my comforter into a plastic bag instead of providing a comforter bag, so my comforters were wrinkled. My comforters were also distorted as if they were years old but these were brand new comforters! It was an obvious sign of not being handled appropriately during the cleaning process. So my brand new comforters were trashed. This was only the second time I took one of them to get dry cleaned and the first time it came out just like new. Also all of my comforters had an unpleasant smell kind of like cigarette smoke, and I do not smoke. I was extremely displeased, however that is the price I paid for being lazy. Fortunately I just got my new washer and dryer that can handle my king size comforters so I was able to get the smell out and get a good cleaning with the steam feature. For paying what I did I expected better service. I won't bring anything to Olmstead again and instead find a new local place or take the two hour round trip drive to a reliable service. read more
