Visit #1: I had accompanied my Mom to her mammogram at an adjacent building. Parking was well marked, main reception check-in straight forward, and imaging clinic was fast. Her physician's office received the results promptly. Visit #2: My Mom was transported by ambulance to the ER. Me & The Homie got on the first available ferry from Edmonds & drove fast from Kingston to Silverdale. Again, clear signage for appropriate parking. Checking in required proof of identity with security to obtain an official name to gain access to the ER rooms. Staff from Security, Patient Services, CT scan tech, lab staff, ER physician & nurse all had clear communication. Visit #3: My Mom was admitted and transferred from the ER to another floor, 3South. Good signage and room info regarding assigned staff. Attending physician was clear with findings and desired outcome. Again, staff who dealt with labs, vitals, meals, and keeping patients clean & well looked after were excellent. Visit #4: Discharge day which also included visits from other specialists. Very thorough to be all in agreement and documentation provided before allowing my Mom to go home. My Mom is fortunate to have comprehensive insurance coverage which allowed her to receive great care and treatment from St Michael's, a member of the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health medical network. Shout outs to the ER nurse, Nurse Chris and Nurse Jackson for amazing care. Exceptional kind and compassionate care from Charlene, CNA. Thank you Charlene!

Note: this post is for an onsite visit to the pharmacy, no clinics or admissions…read more I assisted a family member with new prescriptions phoned in by their primary care physician earlier midday (8/31/26). The pharmacy was located on the first floor of the Naval Hospital. The Naval Hospital is located in the Jackson Park area of Bremerton, between Kitsap Way and Chico Way before Silverdale. Military ID & US Passport was used in lieu of no military vehicle sticker at the entrance gate. This is a newer facility with plentiful evergreen trees, waterfront view, and many parking lots and multilevel parking garage to access the facility. Once on the first floor, go to any available kiosk, scan the military ID and follow the prompts. At the end, a receipt-like paper will dispense and will have the specific letter/number combo. The overhead monitors will state the letter/number combo and what pharmacy window to go to. We went after 2pm and it only took about a 20-25 minute wait, including talking with the pharmacist. Note: they close by 430pm. New prescriptions always has to go through the Naval Hospital pharmacy. Future refills need at least 72 hours notice, so don't wait until you run out of your specific meds. These can be picked up again through the first floor, the drive through, or via the lockers adjacent to the elevator lobbies from the parking garage - like Amazon pickup style secured lockers. The pharmacist that assisted us was very customer service oriented and thoroughly reviewed all the medications before scanning them and placing them in a sturdy paper bag. Usually there had been lengthy waits for this family member experienced from many previous visits. We must of picked the sweet spot because there was plentiful parking proximate to the elevators, no extensive line for the kiosk check-in, and a reasonable wait from check-in to when it was our turn for pickup. A very positive experience!

I've had issues recently with a prescription sent in by my civilian provider not being received by NHB's system. Stephanie, one of the NHB pharmacists, has gone above and beyond to try to resolve the problem - even spending significant time coordinating with my doctor's office directly to work out the problem. Aside from the great care I've received from the pharmacy staff, I have to say that I love the convenience of the Rx text system. I've picked up prescriptions from both in-person at the Bangor pharmacy and at NHB's ScriptCenter in the parking garage. Both have been such great experiences! I have to say, though, that I love the NHB ScriptCenter most because it allows me to pick our stuff up 24/7. Considering that I'm working during pharmacy hours, this is the most unbelievably convenient setup. Every base pharmacy everywhere should utilize it. Overall, we really love NHB. We haven't had any issues mentioned in other reviews. Medical staff have been great, pharmacy staff are excellent, and the hospital's location is great. Not to mention that NHB is gorgeous and the view is epic. Would highly recommend!

I had to request pre-op instructions to be sent to me after they claimed they mailed them, well they did not. I get a text message saying I need to pick up the stuff I had to drink, well can't do that without prescription, and then I find out the physician is female for which I am not comfortable with, male doctors should only be attending male patients. I don't want some strange woman looking at my privates, I'm married thank you very much. Frankly, the better part of me finds the whole thing rather uncomfortable and embarrassing really. Above all, I had to cancel twice seeing as no one can get message once. Canceled it and choosing possibly another place that doesn't expect patients to do their job. I'm 46, I thought this was recommended for 50 and older? I suppose it could be any age but I haven't seen a thing on where this has changed.

We highly recommend her. Also, the facility is very clean and the nurses and staff are all kind, helpful and patient.
