My dad had to get his dentures repaired. We went there and the person up front took them back and came back saying they couldn't fix them. They said due to the lining they couldn't get them to meet appropriately. They said they tried scraping at them and couldn't get the lining off. They recommended Tenino denture clinic. So on the way there my dad was able to scrape the lining off with no effort. We went into the Tenino denture place and they were able to repair them with no problem. Stay away, unless you want unnecessary dental procedures done. I visited this office twice, six months apart, and the first visit was fine, although the front desk staff always acts put out when checking patients in or out, as if it's a huge inconvenience that they have to put down their phones or interrupt their conversation to do their jobs. I've never had a filling or a cavity in my life, but when Dr. Wildhaber examined my teeth on the second visit, she said that one of my fillings had fallen out (from the center of a molar, allegedly) and she could get "way up in there" with her tool. I told her that wasn't possible since I'd never had a filling. She backpedaled and said "oh well maybe it was sealant that fell out." Fine, that's possible, I did have sealant put in there many years ago. However, I found it hard to believe that she didn't notice this at our previous visit, and no other dentist had even flagged the area previously to keep an eye on it. She wanted me to schedule a filling on the spot, which I did but pushed it out a few weeks so I'd have time to consider. I was nervous to have them perform a filling because my boyfriend was in the midst of a terrible experience with this office at the same time. He visited Dr. Wildhaber after not having dental insurance for a couple of years, and she decided that he needed to have some previously done fillings relaced. She replaced three fillings in one quadrant of his mouth, and based on the x-rays, told him that he had extra-large sinuses and therefore would not be able to get root canals, so he should be extra diligent with his teeth. Fast forward a week, and the pain from the filling replacements hadn't subsided. There was also now a huge gap in between two of his molars that wasn't there before, in which food kept getting caught painfully. After a few weeks, he called them up and they said to come back in and they'll fix the gap and adjust his bite to try to get rid of the pain. At that visit, they did fix the gap, but decided to perform yet another filling replacement, seemingly at random. They adjusted his bite, but after a few more days it became clear that that hadn't fixed the problem. He went back in AGAIN, at which point they said he'll probably need a root canal to fix the problem. No mention of the fact that they previously told him he couldn't even have root canals. They then never sent over the referral even after he followed up. So basically, my boyfriend went from not being in pain and having no noticeable issues with his teeth, to constant pain in the quadrant of his mouth that she worked on. So, with everything that he'd been through, I decided to get a second opinion before letting her touch my teeth. I went to a very-well-reviewed office in Olympia, explained the whole situation, and after x-rays and a thorough examination, that dentist told me that I didn't have a cavity at all. He was actually outraged that Dr. Wildhaber would recommend a filling. My boyfriend then visited this new dentist as well, and they told him that he likely doesn't need a root canal and they have several things they want to try to alleviate his pain before taking that kind of invasive action. Needless to say, we cancelled all future appointments at Olympic Dental & Denture. read more

When you leave a dentist office in tears every single time you go there ..... whether it's from dental treatment, pain, cost or the way you were treated is not a good thing. The stupid dentist broke a front tooth beside the one he was pulling. Didn't want to take responsibility at all. Cut my losses and went elsewhere..... my recommendation is to avoid by all means. I first came to a Olympic Dental at the advice of a friend who told me the Olympic dental, was excellent in what they do. So needing dental work pretty bad. I gave him a call and made an appointment. The wait for the appointment was only about three or four days so I thought that that was pretty good at least to see somebody without have to wait a month so. from the minute I walked in there these people were so nice and I couldn't believe what they do and immediately I felt comfortable and the receptionist was very nice and nice smile, I think I only met one of them I think there's two receptionist but I only met one but anyway I am waiting there was only about 15 minutes whenI saw a Denturist and then I saw the dentist and they said that they wouldn't take much for them to remove the remaining teeth which was only 13 left and so they said we can have your dentures in the same day that we would pull the rest your teeth so I thought wow OK so let's do it! so they made impressions in my mouth and made an appointment to have mouth surgery the rest of my teeth taken out and in for a denture fitting so I went had my teeth pulled and they immediately put my new teeth in and I couldn't believe it. I can't believe! it's like LensCrafters for teeth instead of glasses in about an hour it's teeth in about an hour, so I was kind of amazed at the whole operation the whole time the dentist was removing my teeth. She has a special way of numbing your mouth without feeling any pain and that was unbelievable to me. I don't understand why other dentist don't do that but so I got my teeth in about an hour or after it was done and went home the same day with a great smile so I never seen anything or heard anything like it before but if you want a good dentist and you want to get treated well. This is by far the best dentist I've ever gone to. They take their work seriously and they are the best at it I know. I highly recommend them. I have come here since I was quite young and never had a panic attack. They listen to your concerns and WILL take care of you! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a dentist. read more

NO, NEVER AGAIN, DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING ENDLESSLY LIED TO AND TORTURED! They told me to get this Community Health, it would cover everything. Guess again. They TORTURE me, cutting my gums during a proceedure that should NOT cause that, I was in pain, they didn't care, they leave everything else up to me, only to find out WHAT I NEED DONE IS NOT COVERED! Every time I call for my appointment I have to deal with Sarah!! The B...h at the front desk!! Can she be any more ruder, we had things all worked out with my teeth, just waiting on the approval from the insurance , well the OK came in and I asked Sarahma few things and she said rather rudely I,may add " well that wasn't in your chart" and I said I beg to differ with you !but we were told that I would leave your office with a set of teeth in mouth!! My husband was standing right there when all of this was discussed!!! She said "No, that's not what we discussed" I,said then what the heck am I paying 1200.00 for?? Let me tell ya the B...h had nothing to say after that!! So she then tells me "well you need to come in for your impressions, what day? " I said ASAP she says "Friday at 1 and hangs up! There's been 3 other incidents I have had with this woman and let me tell you if,she was the dentist or hygentist i would tell this,place to take a flying leap!! I took a half of a day off work for this appointment that they got mixed up. Their solution was: too bad we have too many patients to fit you in. The receptionist was very rude and not sympathetic to my dilemma from their mixup and Basically I was SOL and could come back next Monday, but I guess we can all afford to take time off for nothing. Thanks I will not return with the receptionists rude attitude and lack of solutions they can keep the attitudes and I will find somewhere at least more understanding and willing to TRY to come up with a solution. read more

My experiences here have been uniformly excellent. Instead of pretentious oversell that I have experienced at other local dentists, here I have only experienced compassionate and professional care, both in the actual dental work as well as the front office where Susanna has diligently spent hours resolving issues with my insurance companies (a thankless job, but Thank You!). Yesterday when getting my teeth cleaned, Maureen was so polite and caring, I was just so pleased! And she showed the Dr. where I had chipped my tooth the week previous and was cutting my tongue (sorry for the details!) and asked him if he could deal with it right then rather than waiting to have me come back for a separate appointment, and he just stopped and took care of it right then. It is wonderful to not hurt now! I would encourage anyone looking for excellent, professional and compassionate care to try Olympic Dental. These folks really care! read more
