Best fields around the area...turf is soft and clean and the pitches are the perfect sizes. Always love being there.

What we appreciate most is how much the coaches care about every player. They take the time to support each child and create a positive, motivating environment. It's been a great experience for our family, and we're really happy to be part of CSA.

It was apparent right away that the coaches all have a past history of higher level soccer experience. They meet each child where they are at and truly care about their growth as a player and in character. A culture of mutual respect is expected amongst players, coaches, teammates, and families. Both of our sons IQ of the game has grown tremendously as the coaches take the time at practices and trainings to stop play to positively discuss and encourage critical thinking with players about what else they could have done during the play to enhance their game. The club is very organized in communicating with parents and we are encouraged to have open communication with coaches and other staff about our children. There is also a place for all players depending on their skill and understanding of the game and I feel the coaches really keep an eye out and do a great job of placing kids where they will grow the most in confidence and skill (this also includes pathways for higher level play and opportunities when a child is ready for it). Not only do our boys current team coaches pour into them, but other coaches across the club have also put time and efforts into coaching them at practices, futsal, camps, street soccer, and trainings. We couldn't be more happy at Chicago Soccer Academy of Fox Valley and seeing the growth our boys have made this year.

Third, and probably my favorite feature right now, is a robust Free People Movement section. FPM is a wonderful brand, with cute style but also very functional, comfortable and durable. My daughter's love this brand so their clothing and accessories make nice gifts. I have noticed that not all Dick's locations carry Free People. So I appreciate the variety found in their section here. The only thing I don't like about this location are the constantly locked dressing rooms and having to ring the bell or hunt someone down to try on garments. It's an inconvenience, especially if you have limited time to shop. Check out the licensed team sports wear and the second floor for higher end outdoor brands like Columbia and North Face. They have a vast selection of shoes too.

This store located in Schaumburg, IL is one of the larger ones we've visited, with a huge atrium and two stories of various wares. We came soon after it opened and it was SO empty. But there were people available to help, along with open registers to quickly check out. Maybe because there were so few people, the associates seemed to be going out of their way to be helpful and friendly: from the talkative cashier to the disabled greeter in the wheelchair using an artificial voice generator. The most important thing was that we found what we were looking for in this well stocked, giant store: Fighting Ilini branded socks and banner to gift our friend's son who had just recently decided to go to my alma mater.

There are all sorts of levels and classes here, for kids from 18 months to 9 years old. My daughter is encouraged and loves playing the games associated with teamwork, listening, and, of course, soccer skills. And she completely runs out all of her energy by the end of class. That allows me to totally win at nap time for the day. Extra props to Coach Blaize and Coach Hannah for all the energy and encouragement.

One class they only used the soccer balls 5 of 50 minutes!! 6) class distinctions mean nothing anymore...they lump all ages and skill levels. One class had 3 year olds with 8 year olds. Just dangerous! 7) coaches never correct misbehavior even if they are endangering themselves or others 8) owners kid wanders around saying mean things to all the participants 9) facility and equipment are not being maintained 10) need any more reasons to run screaming from this place???
