We came here on a whim with family friends while in the Chicago suburbs. I didn't know what to expect. Overall we had a good time. This is a place made for families with kids. The cost to get in isn't that high, the food selection is mediocre but not too badly priced, and there was a kids section in the outfield with some blow up games. Parking is close to the stadium and the facility is well maintained and kept clean. There are a ton of themed nights and there are decent stadium give aways. We were out at Impact Field to see a Chicago Dogs game on a giveaway shirt night. It was crowded, but the fans seemed in good form and were family friendly. Liked this park a lot. Even with a big crowd, there was room to get around without being squished into a corner. Parking was pretty easy too. They have an attached lot that doesn't hold too many cars, but right across the street and only a short walk is a huge parking lot for a group of restaurants and hotels. You are allowed to park there and walk to the park ... easy-peasy. Staff was great, parking was easy, sightlines were excellent, prices were reasonable, and it was easy to arrive and depart on the I-294 Balmoral exit that is within sight of the park. Lots of kids, pretty good hot dogs, and the team was fun to watch. Independent league baseball makes for an enjoyable evening without the MLB prices. Try it. read more

We were invited by friends as part of a large group. I've seen the place on the west side of 294 but this was my first time going to it. Just put the address in Waze and it takes you right there. The parking is in 2 garages - one on North side and other on South side of field. $3! That's it! It's a short walk to the entrance and they had signs directing us to where we needed to go. So easy. Because we were invited as a group - they gave us a wrist band and sent us to the Leine Roof Top. The food was fabulous and the drinks were great. The employees were even helpful and friendly. Everything was clean too! If you are looking for a group outing - this is the place you should check out or even if you just want to go with a friend. Highly recommend! read more

First time at Impact Field with a dozen or so buddies for a Chicago Dogs game. The field itself is very nice. Built in 2018, it still feels brand new and very clean. It is set right next to 294, O'Hare Airport, and downtown Rosemont--close to some great dining options like Morton's Steakhouse, Gibson's Steakhouse, and one of my personal favs Fogo de Chao. The stadium seats about 6,500 people--much bigger than I expected-- and I'm told it is one of the top ten largest stadiums in the Chicago area. The Chicago Dogs are not affiliated with any MLB teams, but they looked pretty competitive--great inexpensive setting for introducing younger kids to baseball. Impact Field provided all the bells and whistles--games and music in between innings. Kids can run the bases after the game and they even had fireworks! They have their own parking garage (which is $3) and you can get a great Chicago style hotdog : ) read more

Came here for a teambuilding with the team / coworkers. We had a blast. Food and drink were great and a few of us even got to do an activity during the seventh inning stretch! There is a mascot who is hilarious walking around. During the off season, they do events like Christmas lights. The park is beautiful clean and roomy. We went on a perfect summer evening to see the Chicago Dogs. There was a small but enthusiastic crowd. Parking is $3 . Our seats were 16 because they were prime. Most people were wearing team gear. There wee a lot if little kids . It is the perfect introduction to baseball for future tee ballers. As a disabled Veteran and a mobility challenged person, This is the best accessible park I have ever seen. The parking garage is right next to the park and there are no ramps or stairs to enter the park. There are handicap spots on the main level and all seats have great views. Prices are very competitive running from $9 - $25 per ticket. The seats are comfortable. The food, although expensive, is good and well portioned. They run specials nearly every day - from $ 2 hot dogs to $2 beer and fireworks. They try to be very family friendly, but not 100%, just kids. Adults are included in the fun. What a cute little field that brings a fun experience with it! Came here for the first time today, and although I was freezing my nips off, I had a good time. With the Chicago Dogs being a newer minor league baseball team, the stadium was not full at all, but it made it that much better because we could really sit wherever we wanted. We had tickets in the bleachers, which were nice seats for a while until the sun went down and froze my pants to my legs. The concession prices were pretty normal and the pricing is close but some may be be a tad off from reality: $12 for a double sized can of any beer, $9 for a mixed drink, $6 for a jumbo hot dog, $5.50 for a Bavarian pretzel, $3.50 for coffee or hot chocolate, and of course many other items were on sale like ice cream, soda, chicken tenders, Philly cheesesteak, candy, and popcorn. They also have a team store where you can buy shirts, hats, and other souvenir-type things. Most shirts were $25 unless they were the clearance shirts (some clearance shirts were as low as $10) and I wanted a sweatshirt, but these were pretty high for a minor league team in my opinion costing $45... or at least the one I wanted was that much. However, some clearance ones were $30 which were well-priced, but they were super thin Under Armour material. The game and atmosphere was great for people and families of all ages. The mascots are fun (Ketchup and a mustard bottle named Squeeze), and there are plenty of competitions and giveaways in the middle of the game on the field, and near left field concessions, there are some games such as a skii ball game, and a pitching blow up thing that tells you how fast you throw. Overall, I will be back here especially because tickets are so cheap and you can see the field from anywhere you sit. It's definitely a fun time and you won't regret going... maybe you'll regret the rain or freezing cold, though, depending on the day/night you go, so I'll pick a day game next time most likely. We came on a freezing day and they ran out of coffee and hot chocolate. HOW?! Just an FYI, they have a short fireworks show at the end of the game each Saturday! Also, parking in the garage is $3. None of the bathrooms are open by the bleachers! Opening day. Makes someone with limited mobility have to manage getting to the restrooms by the food. Not very handicapped friendly. At least I was able to get the last handicapped space 90 minutes before the game. I don't know if I can come back, it was a long way in a walker to the bathrooms and food. We went to the opening game for the Chicago Dogs where everyone was dressing as hot dogs in order to break a world record. It rained, poured at one point, we braved it. It was soooo crazy with traffic that night but there was also an anime con at the convention center adding to it. The food lines were crazy long so they need to get a few more outlets, staff or speed. There are vendors for beer and cotton candy but dogs would be awesome. Went to a Chicago Dogs game last weekend for Bark In The Park and brought our pup with. The game was fun - though they lost! But the stadium was really nice! Everything was well run, clean, great views from everywhere! We sat in the Wintrust seats behind home plate and they were amazing! Wide seats and padding - totally worth the $25 bucks! Love that dogs were allowed to sit anywhere as well. Looked at other minor league dog day games and most require dogs in the lawn seats or bleachers but this was great allowing more dogs, more fun and more space too! Food was good! Ease of getting there, parking and the entry system was great! Being a dog game they said we could come and go as needed (with ticket in hand) to let the pups relive themselves in the grass right outside the park! Made life so much easier not worrying about a single relief area like some of the major league parks. We had a great time overall and will definitely be returning! read more

Went on a Saturday night game. Great park Everything is clean and new. Prices for concessions are what you'd expect at any sporting event so bring $$$. Our seats were great and the price was great. The game was fun and the entertainment was fun to watch The mascots really interacted with the crowd and kids. Sound system in the stadium was real good. Score board is big and easy to see. At night the lights lite everything up nicely They had an excellent fireworks display. Only thing that was a little bit of a pain was the bathrooms and how they were labeled. Great selection of food from Weiner Circle, to a true Chicago dog all made with Vienna hot dogs!! Yes, finally a good hot dog at a ball park! The stadium club looks worth the price, especially if you want shade. All the seats by the field are open sun, so plan accordingly! The merchandise store is also full of all kinds of shirts and hats in all different colors and styles. Other odd and ends available in a variety of price ranges. This field was very nice and clean and healthy when I went, and I had such a great time when I went there. The food was very good, and they had a somewhat large menu, and had plenty of choices, but nothing really special. Parking is very easy, and the bathrooms are very clean, but maybe because of the very small crowds. I can imagine parking can be a lot harder when witnessing a large group of people. Although the parke lacks originality, and they had a oddly blank black wall in centre field, I will look forward to coming back, which is why I will give it 4 stars. read more

Although I love this stadium and the people that run it, treat you like family. Unsupervised children running around everywhere pushing in front of you, being disrespectful to the players, shouting and yelling at inappropriate times. Really puts a damper on the fun. Why pay good money for our season seats just so dozens of children can plop themselves all around us? I love that they promote family fun, but the key word is family... Went to the The night game July 11. Managed to get some really great seats! Thank you Scott Foley! The weather was perfect, but I did get a little chilly when the sun went down. Dogs. did a come from from behind victory for a great game. One of the benefits of the Wintrust Home Plate Club is the FANtastic view of the home plate area. Close enough to see the curve balls curve!! The wider, and CUSHIONED seats were a blessing on my bony behind!! The gentleman who was the Usher was extremely helpful, pleasant, and seemed to really like his job! Another benefit of the Wintrust seating is the ordering of refreshments from your seat!! What a great idea, a definite selling point to sit in this upscale area!! Unfortunately Thursday night it was totally useless! Thus the reason for the only 2 star review! I know, I gave them 4 stars. I will explain. We got to our seats shortly before six. Looking forward to ordering food and drink. Saw no one that appeared to be taking orders. Figured they would come by after the game started at 6:05. 6:30, still no servers. Asked the usher, to make sure we were in the right area to order from seats. He assured us we were and that some one should be there shortly, watch for a person in a red shirt. By 7:00 we could wait no longer!! We left our seats to get our food and drinks. (A story for my next review. Want to make sure its correct.) About 7:20 we noticed a young lady in a red shirt taking orders from people in the section next to ours. She appeared to be the only one working the whole Wintrust area. This young lady was busy as could be, yet she kept a smile on her face!! At 7:30 she got to us, Hurray!! She was excellent!! Smiling, happy , we got a menu, but decided not to get anything as we had just eaten. We watched her as she continued her rounds. Cheerfully dealing with the fans and making the organization look good inspite of this lapse. She is the only reason for the other 2 stars. Though she deserves 5 of her own. I hope management finds this young lady and tells her that at least 2 people saw what was going on and admired her actions and perseverance. The next morning The wife and i were still talking about what a great job that young woman had done. About 25 minute later we saw a young man in a red shirt walk down the stairs and back up without even looking at the customers!! We believe he was another order taker because of the gear he had on but. .... To round the bases, seats excellent, food okay, service dismal at best! Was probably just an off night. Everything has been great on previous visits. First time seated in Wintrust area. Will give it another go. Sliding into Home Plate for the WIN is The people working there ( with the possible exception of that young man). A better group of people to put the Face on Impact field you couldnt ak for!! I've given Impact Field a while to work out its growing pains, and I'm a half-season ticket holder, so I've got a number of visits under my belt. There's a lot of good about this place, but also room for improvement. PROS: - The facility itself is great; wide concourse, enough bathrooms, plenty of concession locations Opening Night was a concession nightmare, but they seem to have gotten most of that under control. - Well-staffed in all areas from what I can tell, and very friendly employees - Parking is affordable ($3) and convenient - Seats have great views and are comfortably wide - Ticket prices are affordable, like most minor league parks - Between-inning entertainment is generally fun, and is starting to get more varied - Wide range of merchandise, especially hats - Getting in is fairly efficient with bag checks, body scans, and ticket scanning - Concession prices seem fair CONS: - Concession quality varies. I've repeatedly gotten stale buns with hot dogs and burgers from more than one concession stand. (Seriously, one was so rock hard, I had to toss the whole bun.) Not sure if they're buying old product, or sitting on it too long, or getting the dregs from their provider, but they need much better quality control. - Similarly, concession offerings are fairly limited and uninspired. Most minor league parks I visit have superior quality and/or more unique offerings concessions to their major-league counterparts--I hope Impact steps this area up. - Some of the promotions are misleadingly marketed. Brewsday Tuesday "$2 Domestic Drafts" is really just $2 Miller Lites being served from cooler taps on the concourse. Any of the other tap beer at the concession stands is not covered. Similarly, "Wiener Wednesdays" don't have a clear promotion; Wiener's Circle definitely was charging regular price (and skimping on the onions...). - There are two entrance gates, but one is inconsistently unavailable. Since it's right outside a parking garage exit, it would make for much more convenient access for visitors if both entrances were open. (They have a LOT of visible staff around the park, so this shouldn't be too hard!) - Merchandise prices seem a bit high at points. (Over $100 for a very cheaply made jersey? Come on, Dogs.) - No updated programs or rosters available from what I can see. One player in the inaugural roster seems to already have moved to the Atlantic League. Looking forward to more summer days and nights with the Dogs...I have faith this will only improve with time! read more

Wow, this place is so not prepared for a large crowd. We went for the July 3 game and fireworks. There were many more attendees than usual, and it did not go smoothly. It was a 45 min wait in line for food - no exaggeration. That means 45 minutes of not watching the game. I was also disappointed with the number of food options, as there was very little beyond hotdogs. If they hope to draw large crowds on a regular basis, they will need to address their operations. On the positive side, tickets are reasonably priced, the stadium is immaculate, and the firework display exceeded expectations. read more

Nice park. The team is about what you expect for a new franchise. Growing pains, etc. Facility is clean, parking is inexpensive and nearby, seats are comfy and there really is no bad seat. The food -- especially their version of a Chicago style hotdog -- is poor. Either buy and use better quality hotdogs or hire someone who actually knows how to make a hotdog taste good. French fries were lukewarm. We went to the game expecting to sample all the various food options, but after the hotdog experience, we took a pass on the other food. Went to the Clebourne v Dogs game where Rafael Palmiero hit two homers. That was fun to see. read more
