This also connects to other places by paths and sidewalks. A little history about it. It's one of the city's best parks. This was acquired in 1982 through a developer donation, so that was one kind thing from them. A few improvements have happened. In 1999 they added the shelter and first trail. Also they have added fish if you like fishing. The pond has bass, catfish, and walleye among others. Good little park for this town and close to lots of local attractions. It's located on Silver Lake Road north of the railroad bridge. The pavilion also has outlets to charge phones.

The fields are far apart, and being stuck on the field furthest away, made going to the bathroom quite a hike. Nice main bathrooms at the entrance though and concession stand. Warning: Zero shade!!!

A fairly good amount of park for a town and there's often events. It's a popular gathering place. The last time there was even a wedding. Or at least they were just taking pictures. There is a large white gazeebo that's nice for pictures and, apparently, bands also play there. There's also a covered picnic area with several picnic tables that looks like it could seat 50-70 or so people. The playground was nice - clean, with a good number of options for both little kiddos (my nephew is 3.5 years old) to older kids and, erhm, adults. :) Nothing was broken, peeling, or an obvious hazard. There's also a brown mini-gazeebo near the park that has both a water fountain on top and a faucet towards the bottom (good to fill a dog bowl, wash dirty feet, or to just play and splash, as my nephew did).

It's not the most 'manicured' park I've been to, but I really did have a great time and loved being able to stare out at the water. It could do with some general cleaning of the picnic tables under the covered area and benches. I found it to be very buggy, so bring a hat or some bug spray with you. There is a parking lot, but to get to it and out of it, you have to go down a very narrow drive. It basically fits one car, so be careful when entering and exiting the park.

It certainly is one of the largest parks in Woodstock. A lot of room for chilling or playing around. There's also natural beauty such as ponds. Basically it's popular with sports and youth leagues. It's got a lot of facilities for sports. These include for baseball, basketball, football, pickleball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Of course there's more to do here. There's also pavilions, picnic tables, and playgrounds. Also grilling here is allowed. The park officials let visitors bring their own grills as long ad vials are properly disposed of, which is saying to not leave these burning like people seem to do a lot. For sure it's a park that's big. It's located on the west side of town. They allow sledding and snowshoeing in winter.

The walking paths are very well kept and offer both a short version or a longer one. With a nature playground, pollinator garden, and nice walking trails. There was a paved trail available for those with strollers as well. We even looked up and saw a deer watching us from about 10ft away. While the one downside was no bathroom (it looks like the nature center is only open Friday and Saturday) and a few biting flies... it was worth it to stretch our legs in nature for a bit. We'll consider this place again when traveling through.
