As one of Dollar Tree's avid customers, I identified this location while enroute to my destination…read more I always try to keep somewhat of a picture memory of things that I need or low on such as body wash, dish soap, tissue, shelf milk, cleaning supplies, shelf foods, bubble line poly mailing envelopes, etc. So that if I encounter a Dollar Tree enroute to wherever, I can visit at anytime to purchase what I need. During my visits I just have to raid its snack zone which has everything my taste buds desire. Being that I have visited many throughout Chicago and Chicagoland I know that many of the stores differ slightly in what products they have stocked in comparison. The first thing I took notice of immediately upon entering was its olive green carpet on the floor, which many other locations do not have carpet period. Other than that, its isles were stacked similar but slightly arranged different in comparison to others. I say arrange differently because it took me a few seconds to identify where the body wash was located due to its arrangement of its sections. Items I encountered that took me by surprise were the Family size box of Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, and the Chicago Cubs note pads, which both were items I never have encountered at any other locations. There may be a few other items that differ, but those are what I took notice of during my visit. I have no complaints about the customer service or the timeline of my wait in line because the wait is one thing I expect, being that everything is sold for only a dollar. And I'm quite aware that the time you visit comes in to play also, so you will rarely hear me complaining about a long wait in line. My suggestion is that you visit when you do not have anywhere to be at the spare of the moment, so that you are not pressed for time in case you have along wait. Being that I visit others near where I work, or near my neighborhood I cannot say that I will not visit this location again. But it will be occasionally if I just so happen to be in the area and need some of the typical items I purchase at Dollar Tree. Thomas G

An unproductive conversation ensued. References made to current discounting adverts listed on the website were dismissed as 'former promotions' that were strangely lacking expiration dates. How could a promotion end without a website revision or an indication anywhere of an expiration date? I was then requested to send a photo of the website to the unsolicited caller to verify the advert I had and was currently seeing. I complied and was told that what was advertised wasn't currently on offer, yet no effort seemingly made to honor the promotion offered on the website that we both were, by then, seeing. Deciding to side with my lying eyes over the lying, duplicitous, prevaricating voice on the phone, I promptly ended the call mid-conversation and decided to phone another tinting installer. Hopefully, this review gives reason for others to do the same.

Dearborn Wholesale Grocers is really not too far from my apartment, it sits just short of 2 miles, so I figured why not! Plus as an East Garfield Park resident, visiting Dearborn Wholesale Grocers gets me on the other side, which is the West Garfield Park side which I rarely visit, yet have several Yelp bookmarks of businesses in West Garfield Park. I dropped in one afternoon to pick up dinner, as well as check Dearborn Wholesale out. I was totally observant while visiting, examining their prices. Dearborn Wholesale benefits that buyer that wants to purchase food items by the bulk. And most of the prices reflect the item being purchased by the bundle. For instance! Buying 3 or more of the item gets you that item cheaper versus purchasing it individually. Get my gist? Since I was just purchasing little, I really had to look at the prices thoroughly so that it was not a surprise once I got to the register. In the end I was slightly disappointed with how 'The Garfield Lawndale Voice' listed the coupons for Dearborn Wholesale Grocers, because if you are someone like me just shopping for groceries the coupons can easily be misleading.
