During my visit, they had a great selection of products. And it seemed they were all ~10% off retail price (probably due to being an outlet store?). However, I did see a lot of signs saying an addition 30-50% off on random tables and area with some possible excisions so talk to an associate. Being an outlet store, you will have be less picky about the color but that is fine with me. I own different brands and colors so my house is like a rainbow. Today, I was interested in a deep lasagna pan. And I found a rack of them with an addition 30% off. Score! Overall, I wish I could have spend more time at the store. But my 2 year old was getting antsy and there are a lot of heavy and breakable items. However, I will be back in the future. And maybe by myself if the wife allows it to spend more money.

After browsing we found a set of measuring spoons and cups we wanted. Combined cost about $80. At the checkout, they ran up at 30%% off not 35%. When I questioned the associate, she said, the "tools" aren't part of the sale, only the bakeware. We opted to forgo the purchase over the $4 difference out of principal. While it's not as catchy to say 'everything on the tables except...' honesty would be great, especially when you see the people you told about the additional discount picking up apparently excluded items.

And I plan to buy more holiday gifts here too. The large bowls, vases and tumbler sets make great gifts. The $20 bowls and mugs would be perfect to bring to all those work holiday gift exchanges where you are supposed to spend $20 on a gender-neutral gift and 90% of your co-workers wrap up a Starbucks gift card. Trust me, a $20 piece from this shop would be a way better gift!! I used to use glasses and plates from Pier One -and in a house full of busy teens and clumsy me many end up chipped or broken and we just toss them out- but this year I've been eating and drinking out of the hand-crafted mugs, bowls and plates from this shop. It makes a difference in how I approach meals and care for the items!! I get excited to eat off these truly beautiful creations and it makes me smile to know that each was crafted intentionally by a local artist. And I'm extra careful doing dishes now as I've grown so fond of each piece and I've watched the potters in the shop actually making the items so I know how much care and attention go into their work. I love how several different artists contribute to the inventory at the shop and I'm pretty sure I have items from everyone by now. Different colors, glazes and forms appeal to me in different ways and I always find something when I visit. Like I just learned the owner Gabe can do dog bowls! The prices are really amazing. Today I got 3 stunning pieces- bowl, mug and tumbler- for $50. They were supposed to be gifts but I've already put them in my dish cabinet. Gabe can do custom orders too. Gabe, the artist/owner, was amazingly accommodating to work with on a commissioned piece. I loved the original piece so much that I added on 2 additional smaller pieces that he had in the studio ready for sale. Everything was affordable, unique, beautiful and made by hand! I'm currently collecting Cerise and Marseille pieces and the manager helped me do just that. She was friendly and her service was excellent. Once I got home I realized I needed more. She went above and beyond to send me pictures and prices of the items I desired - I paid over the phone and received them very well packaged the next day. I'm starting to wonder if it's just me--or if this is a broader issue with the kind of store…read moremanagers this company hires. I've now had poor experiences at two different outlets, each involving different store managers. Most recently, I visited the location this past Sunday, and the experience was honestly appalling. Claire, the store manager, made my wife and me feel completely unwelcome--like we didn't belong there, or couldn't possibly afford what they were selling. Her attitude was beyond rude. It felt as though simply asking basic questions was an inconvenience to her. We left the store feeling disrespected and insulted. What's especially disappointing is that we actually like a lot of the cookware here--we own quite a bit of it. But based on how we've been treated, I'm strongly considering taking my business elsewhere. It also doesn't help that the more helpful employees (like the ones we used to interact with at the West Palm location) seem to be let go, while the arrogant and dismissive managers stay. If this is the company's culture--judging customers based on how they look or what they wear--then they seriously need to rethink their training and values. No one should be made to feel like they're "less than" for walking into a store. Respect and good service shouldn't come with a dress code or a price tag.

Walking in feels a bit like being in a candy store, all the beautiful colors, cookware, and displays make it such a treat just to browse. I'm happy to see this location in Kenosha. Even though I didn't buy anything this time, it was still nice to admire the collections and do a little window shopping. I own 5 Le Creset pots and don't think I need another one anytime soon.

I don't know what more I could ask for in a service situation…read more I submitted a Yelp request for service on my Maytag dryer that wasn't heating up so 6 service professionals respond, but SMA was able to do same day service and work with my schedule. The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.
