A week or so later when I stopped in just before closing time, to complete the rental paper work, the whole family was hanging around, helping out. I asked when the excavator could be delivered, the answer was, "Well, we gotta close and load up, so we'll meet you up there in a couple of hours. That's the customer service a "Mom and Pop" store is willing to give you. I'm getting ready to go back at it up in Mazama, as soon as the snow melts and there's only one place I plan to call; Alliance.

The second time I rented a skid steer to move some dirt around on my property. When I rented this equipment the guy made a comment about how worn out the tracks were and they probably should had been changed by now due to the rips and holes (see photo) . I thought nothing of the comment because I felt I was dealing with a stand up Buisness at that time and frankly I was being dumb and trusting. We'll of coarse the track came off of this machine on my watch . While helping put the track back on I noticed many old tears in the tracks. After the mechanic and I put the track back on it needed to be tightened to hold it in place , as the mechanic did this using a power grease gun it forced a large rip due to being properly pressurized.this was loaded and promptly returned to the yard . This is where I was informed the charged would be on me since I broke the track, the truth is the track was weak to start and I believe the pressure was lowered to keep the old track turning without ripping in half at full pressure . This probably was overdue for new tracks years ago . What happens with this Buisness owner is this .... If you aren't very very knowledgeable about the equipment you rent and refuse to rent it based on lack of maintenance you as the customer will be charged for new set of tracks which I believe are upwards of 6k .plus labor to install them in their full service shop . Bottom line is there is no possible way this business can place blame on anyone for lack of maintenance on their equipment. We as customers have to be able to put some trust in these businesses in our own community . This looks really bad on newtec and I'm disappointed to say the least . Clearly the owner who was very very nasty to deal with isn't wanting to keep his assets in solid order using his checkbook rather he prefers customers to use theirs to pay for maintenance needs . I think I may have uncovered the little game being played on folks which explains the hostility received from the owner while trying to discuss the situation. I can only hope this helps someone out and not make my mistakes.

Have thrown dozens of events and party's all with a glitch. Was received to get a chemical toilette for a funeral. Was booked , reserved, credit card , address of event and phone numbers provided. Was told it would arrive on Thursadsy July 22 to stage . Guess what , it didn't arrive called amd spoke with the general manager today as soon as they opened needing the toilette for 1pm today. Was told to await on hold which I did . He came back to the phone said all his toilette went to fire fighting scenes ( guess the government pays alot more than the general public ) He then said I didn't rent from them and that I should stop yelling at him . All though upset and stressed I kept my cool pleading my case . He said I didn't rent one , can't prove it and hung up on me I called back said hello and he hung up on me again . Fifty people arriving at private property for a funeral with no washroom facilities. Stress , sadness and now anger over their complete lack of costumer service . They took the reservation but just like the Seinfeld episode they just didn't keep the reservation. Not the best policy for a rental company relying on rental booking . This conversation took place with the general manager who would not admit it was he who took the reservation and credit card along with all the other particulars in the first place . Customer beware! Our contract was written to put entire burden on us while allowing LCWR to rent…read moreequipment that is not fit for grass (unstable) or moisture (not water/weather proof) assumed during an outdoor wedding. Our wooden picture frames (designed for indoor use but they were inexpensive so we didn't mind using them) were not damaged from rain but somehow their wooden equipment (advertised as adequate for outdoor wedding verbally, via email, and on LCWR website) was damaged and the burden was put on us weeks later - possibly after renting to other parties. LCWR admitted to not having insurance or a warranty on their equipment. The contract seems to be set up for LCWR to profit from weather related "acts of god". The contract calls for LCWR to be immune from "acts of god" but consumer assumes "full responsibility for weather related damages". Read VERY CAREFULLY before signing. Other detailed concerns: 1) Bar was poorly assembled upon delivery. Unstable and falling apart. Groomsmen had to spend 1/2 hr fixing the structure of the bar so it could be moved / hold drinks without falling apart. 2) Dance floor was not assembled properly upon delivery. Groomsmen had to spend 1/2 hr taking floor apart and re-securing pieces back together. Orange caution tape was applied by groomsmen in order to avoid trip hazard created by dance floor which would not stay together. 3) Flatware was delivered dirty and stained by rental company. This was discovered upon wedding day. Groom and family had to wash each piece by hand with cold water and cloth the day of the wedding. 4) LCWR crew was witnessed tearing table cloths from tables and throwing them with all contents from the tables onto the wet grass. Candle holders were on the tables and were broken from being thrown to the ground. 5) LCWR owner admits that dance floor was not meant to be set up on grass. Dance floor pieces would not lock together properly and were unstable to walk on, creating safety hazard and preventing proper use of equipment. Based on research (interview/online resources), best practice when setting up dance floor on grass is to put sub-floor underneath in order to improve stability, keep pieces dry and together. Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals failed to provide/set up a dance floor that is usable for an outdoor wedding. Feel free to send me a private message if you have questions about this review. They had so many trendy items to choose from and were great at answering our questions via e-mail throughout the planning process. They were kind enough to send us photos of what we could expect things to look like as well! Jeff and Gwen were really kind and worked within our budget to help us plan the perfect set up. We really wanted the dance floor in between two tents with string lights hung across both tents and we were SO happy that they could make that happen for us. They accidentally delivered the wrong color chargers which we realized the evening before the wedding but were very responsive and delivered the correct ones by the time we arrived on the day of the wedding! I only have great things to say about this company!
