A week or so later when I stopped in just before closing time, to complete the rental paper work, the whole family was hanging around, helping out. I asked when the excavator could be delivered, the answer was, "Well, we gotta close and load up, so we'll meet you up there in a couple of hours. That's the customer service a "Mom and Pop" store is willing to give you. I'm getting ready to go back at it up in Mazama, as soon as the snow melts and there's only one place I plan to call; Alliance.

The unit was clean, comfortable, and stocked with towels, paper products, and sheets/pillowcases. When I arrived, I needed a few items that I didn't bring from home. Shari immediately drove over and supplied what I needed, no questions asked. Later, I had some questions on how to operate the awning. Shari and her husband arrived promptly to explain how the unit worked, and even came back afterwards to install a rope to make it easier for me to reach/operate the awning during my stay. The RV was just as expected, very cool and comfortable in the Chelan heat, and was plenty roomy for myself, my family, and my children's friends. What was exceptional, however, was the friendliness and service that I received from Darrin and Shari. They were both friendly, super helpful, and fantastic hosts. With all the fires that popped up a week before the trip put any sort of cancelation outside of the 30 day period. I was going back and forth with Courtney the week leading up to the trip. The gist was that no mater what, even if the fires swallowed up the world, I was not getting a refund but she said that if the camp ground was evacuated, or if the AQI got worse than what it was at the time, I would get a credit. So day before my scheduled trip, AQI was 159 which is extremely unsafe and was much higher then when we had our email exchange. She said they decided they are giving no credits to anyone, and didn't care that I had it in writing from her that I would be getting one. The call got extremely heated, there was yelling and name calling I womt lie.. It was my families first vacation in 8 years, 1 year of savings and she could care less, she was unwilling to offer any compensation even I had it in writing. So sad too bad , sorry about your bad luck was the tone of the conversation. Even the park gave me full refund due to the air quality of the entire Lake Chelan area. She even had the nerve to tell me that the trailer would offer the same amount of protection from the air as a house would, so basically we could just lock ourselves inside to avoid the air which of course is ridiculous, as houses have insulation and larger filters etc. I was thinking about taking them to small claims court but after this I wouldn't want a credit from them anyway, I will never do business with them again. I should have run the other way when she said earlier in our conversation before I actually booked, that even if shit breaks on the trailer, no matter what it is, if they can fix it they will, with no compensation to make up for how it would affect your trip which is insane to me. So rent it for 4 days, air breaks, takes them 2 days to fix it, oh well. 2 days w/ no air..not their problem. F this company straight up.

This has become a last resort kind of place for me. Some of the staff are relatively nice guys, but the policies for renting here aren't good.

They will verbally tell you they close at 3PM but your paperwork and their website show they are open until 5PM. Total jerks about it too. Also, the trailer they rented me (you must pay for that too if you rent heavy equipment) had totally bald tires too! They won't even negotiate, real jerks! Wade is the owner. Go to Wenatchee or ANYWHERE ELSE for your rentals and don't buy any of their overpriced tools. They want to go out of business, please help them by not giving them more.
