I don't understand how the board of health of Fair Lawn could let this business exist. There are 2 disheveled chairs with torn seats in the outside of the store front. The owner doesn't care how disheveled and vile this place looks, it is a sore sight.

When I brought it up to the attendant, he nonchalantly just blew me off and said for me to visually check the filter before I dry, and that the lower row of dryers are the least used and therefore dry better. This is unacceptable! Occasionally when he washes and dries his own clothes, he is absolutely SURE to co clean the filter every time. When I suggested they clean the filters for all the machines at least twice a day, he remarked they only clean the filters at the end of the day when the laundromat is closing. All the machines are modern and the laundry space is new and clean. There seems to be 3 or 4 different sizes. It's a Saturday morning and it's somewhat busy but since there are plenty of machines, I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes. You pay buy a refillable laundry card that cost$1. Small machines are $3.69 and the largest machine is $7.19. Dryers are $.49 for 10 minutes. I haven't washed clothes in laundromat in years so I don't know what's costly or not. God knows what people put in the washers and dryers that others have to use. So I started using pick up and delivery laundry service two years ago and tried at least three in the Hackensack area. This company just gets it. They get that the customer needs to be able to count on them to do what they say they're going to do and to be available in case they need to contact someone. It sounds simple, but you'd be surprised how many companies cannot do the simplest things. For instance, I live in a high rise building that will not allow me to bring my stuff downstairs and leave it for a pickup of any kind. Some laundry services cannot deal with that. They cannot get out of the truck, go upstairs, and get my laundry. Rochelle Park Laundry comes in, gets in the elevator, comes to my apartment, and picks up my laundry and drops it off exactly as they promised. No mishaps or confusion. The exact kind of service I request is done -- wash, dry, fold, hangers -- it's all done, and better than I would have done it myself. So worth the cost -- which is minimal for what you get. Really. Highly recommend.
