My company uses Omega for business visas, but when I needed my kid's passport updated with his new name and gender designation, they quoted my a crazy high price for handling it, and then gave me wildly incorrect information. They said for the gender update I'd need a doctor's note "to prove that he's taking his meds." A one-minute Google search told me that was completely incorrect and frankly offensive, since in reality, the State Department has no requirement for this, and allows applicants to self-attest gender. I figured out how to file the application myself and saved $400. read more

Omega Saves the Day! I woke up Monday morning to find my passport expired, and a non-refundable vacation leaving on Wednesday! Totally forgot about my passport. I called Jill, went in first thing, got pics there, all paperwork, and rush ordered a new passport. By Tuesday I had a new passport and relieved I could go! They really came thru fast and very helpful! If you have weeks to wait for the standard processing then it saves the fee, but if you are in a rush or even just need help with the process they definitely are worth the price.. Also a few years back my wife had a business trip overseas, and in booking her travel her passport got lost somehow? Omega got her a brand new passport, blocked the old one and had it delivered quick too! She had a little more time so didn't have to Rush but they took care of everything and saved valuable time and energy from making an appointment, taking time off work and hassle with the post office procedures. Worked with Jill today in getting my first passport. ...Yes, my first (don'choo judge me!). It was actually pretty painless. I had a hard time even dragging myself out of the house to get it, but it was worth it. Jill and Sheram were both very pleasant and accommodating throughout my entire process. First, we filled in my info with the US gov website, prepared the documents, and then took my passport picture. Then I had to have it notarized at the US Post Office, which is to be expected. Luckily for me, the USPS was not far from Omega. I don't really know how to dive too deeply into this process to leave a riveting review on Yelp. All I can say is that Jill and Sheram were very friendly and efficient. For this lazy boy, it was a great experience. Thank you. I've used this service numerous times over the past ten years. They do a good job, they are knowledgeable and plenty fast. they dont smile and serve coffee, but they are not rude or unfriendly. The rules have changed over the decade, they used to be able to do everything, then they took me to the post office, now they give me directions. Once that is done...they finished up the rest. This place scams people I went in for a notary today. Before going in I knew the rules and what can be done or not. I needed to notarize a single signature which had a copy of my ID and social security card on one page for verification for my bank. They told me the identifications had to be on two separate papers (which is not true).....they just wanted me to buy an extra signature (notary is $15 per signature here) So me being me, financial freedom and all I decided without arguments to get this notary done and leave a honest negative feedback. I had experience with them in the past, so I decided to use them to get Brazilian VISAs for my kids. Fortunately, I only send the first one when I realized that it only costs $45 and they charge $165. I immediately asked them to cancel and they took two days to get back to me and then told me it had already been submitted. I asked more than once why they charged $120 more and they simply told me this is their "service fee". For what? I submitted the VISA for my other kid via the official site and it was only $45 and very easy. I will not do business with Omega again. I wish I had checked on Yelp before trusting them... Hi everybody, I haven't done anything by this group but I called Mr. Sheram two times so far and asked critical questions about my immigration case. At both times he was 100% positive, patient, and respectful and completely answered my question without any charge! I used Omega for a visa to Cameroon, which was virtually impossible at the time to get directly from their embassy. Omega came thru with it incredibly quickly. I have recommended them to others, and the results have been consistently good. Using a visa broker is not cheap, but neither is your time or your trip. Just awful. When I walked in a woman greeted me and asked what I needed: Notary services. Then she directed me to the woman at the first desk Who proceeded to ignore me while she finished what had to be the most important text in the whole entire world. I mean why else would you ignore your paying customer who is sitting directly across from you? The text she was sending definitely had to be life or death defining. Then once the ever so important text was sent she looked at the document I placed in front of her and started to notarize it. No apology, she didn't even look up at me. How's that for customer service; you don't even look at the customer in front of you while you're handing their business? After she notarized my document, she said $10. I handed her my card. You get what you pay for! We pay for stellar, personal, prompt service and that is what we get! We pay for them to take care of the process and they do. I can call them at any time of the process and get an update and they know exactly what is going on. I have had them process at least 10 visas for China for business purposes as well as several of my colleagues, including myself, use them for personal passport/visa assistance. 100% of the time they were clear, efficient, honest and accurate and most of the time, the visas were received before the agreed upon date. They eventually got us our visas, but they weren't friendly, and they weren't fast. We were applying for a visa using a certificate of sponsorship. The consulate requested additional information that Omega never warned us we would need (proof of schooling). When we asked Omega what kind of proof of schooling we needed (copy of a degree, transcript, actual degree, simply the information), they didn't know and got irritated that we asked. If you are in a serious rush to get your visa, and you want people who know what they are doing and make you feel comfortable that they are on top of it, these are not the people to work with. read more

Very helpful!! It was my first time overseas and I was very anxious and did not know anything about traveling outside US. I would not even give Omega Services 1 star - this place is ridiculous! How are you even in business?? Jill is incredibly rude, not at all helpful and does not provide enough information. Not only are they overly priced but they do nothing quickly, they do not provide enough detail to get visa's completed without having them rejected multiple times and she quoted deliveries that were clearly not realistic. Also when you as the customer are paying thousands of dollars to her company to expedite passports/visa at their ridiculous cost you are looking for some kind of reassurance that the product will come on time. NOPE her attitude provides ZERO comfort that they will get the job done in time, and when you call to follow up - JILL yells at you for doing so. She called me nasty on the phone as well as told me I was putting words in her mouth because she could not deliver a Visa in the time she quoted. It came down to hours before having to get on a plane when we planned over a month in advance. She over charges and she provided zero customer service - AWFUL, this place is a joke! read more

omega was really great. i had a great experience getting my passport here.every one was super friendly, from when you walk in, to the girls in the back(: this is a super reliable place, I needed my passport within ten days and they were able to get me the passport exactly when i needed it. i would recommend them to anyone who needs a passport within a small amount of time. The whole process there does not take too long as long as you come prepared. The government fee you do have to pay with a debit or check, but their fee you can pay with a credit card. read more
