The sushi was so good, honestly most affordable sushi spot in the area. I will keep ordering from them, you pay for what you get ! I do want to say the staff are so sweet if you ask them questions or want a substitute. The most recent order with their crab I got sick though, nothing crazy just stomach upset. We get Omka almost every week so I figured it was time to leave them a review. The food always tastes fresh and the portion sizes are generous while still being affordable. Their "standard" rolls are bigger than the specialty rolls at most places. My favorite is the sweet heart roll (tempura sweet potato with spicy tuna and avocado on top). The teriyaki and hibachi meals are also great options (inexpensive, tasty, good portions) if you're not in the mood for sushi rolls. I almost always get the miso soup and it is some of the best miso soup I've had - always full of tofu and seaweed. We've also gotten the lunch bento boxes before and it is one of the best deals! I can usually get two meals out of it for only ~$13. The staff is friendly and the place itself is small and unassuming with only pick up/delivery available (no dine in option). This little takeout sushi place has been a highlight of quarantine and is one of the best sushi options available in Delaware. Located in an unassuming strip mall on Lancaster Pike, Omka exclusively offers takeout and delivery, but at very affordable prices. They take orders through several of the food delivery apps, but they also have online ordering through their own website, which I'm sure is preferable to save them the fees. Their website allows you to create an account and save prior orders, which has been helpful when we are trying to remember what rolls we liked the time before. Each time we have ordered, we've been given a time within 20-30 min to pick up the food, and it's been ready and waiting every time except for one particularly busy Friday. I've only ordered sushi and a few of the apps, though some of my work colleagues have enjoyed the hibachi. My go-to roll is Alaska Roll, so that tends to be my point of comparison between sushi places. The Alaska roll at Omka features large pieces of salmon that tastes super fresh, and I appreciate that the rolls have a reasonable ratio of rice to fillings. The other highlight for me is the sweet potato tempura roll, which is incredible for reasons I'm not even sure I can adequately explain, but it's a must-order every single time (and a bargain at $4/roll). Other highlights: casino roll (shrimp tempura with spicy shrimp and tempura flakes on top) and the dominic roll (spicy tuna topped with avocado and tempura flakes). The only roll we didn't like was the spicy scallop tempura roll, mostly because we didn't realize the whole roll was tempura battered and fried as opposed to just the scallop and that wasn't really our jam. Appetizer-wise, we've enjoyed the kani salad, the edamame, and the shumai. We didn't care so much for the fresh garden salad. Omka is also fairly affordable. Our two apps and four sushi rolls came to just $40 yesterday. They have some great lunch deals, so it's also become an office favorite. read more

New spot with very reasonable prices. Will definitely fill up your appetite without breaking your pockets. I've ordered lunch from here several times for literally less than 10 bucks. Also introduced this place to my coworker and she loved it. Very accessible to our workplace and call in or place your order online for pick up since I don't recall any dining in seating. You'll get more bang for your buck ordering a Bento Box. Wasn't a big fan of the chicken since it was a bit tough. So I'll probably get a different type of protein next time. However, I loved their shrimp fried rice. Ask for extra veggies though. read more

Sushi is a very expensive treat for takeout . I do not order it very often but decided to have a nice treat. What a disappointment! All 3 orders of Gyozas were burnt and they just dumped a large lump of Wasabi on top of the rolls in the container making many of them inedible. It was not worth the price that was paid. read more

When they first opened they did not serve sushi yet. I had tried the rice dishes and noodles, nothing was good. Shrimp fried rice was too salty with a very weird flavor like Lawry's was in it. Noodles were dry and tasteless. However, now that they have had their sushi for the past year or so I am a fan! Five stars for what it is. It's strictly a take out (in the old Domino's Pizza space) but everything ordered was fresh and tasty. All meals come with a soup or side salad. The salad was also very fresh. I was told they do not yet have sushi available but are planning on adding it in the next month or so. Prices are very fair. However I ordered kitchen entrees (hibachi chicken with fried rice, teriyaki chicken with lo mein, edamame, goyza, spring rolls) for the first time and it was AMAZING. The portions were a great size and very reasonably priced. I ate the leftover lo mein the next day cold (I was at work, I'll take food when I can get it) and it was still so good.
