So Dr Yan Li is the owner of this Omni medical clinic. There's a separate Yelp Review for dr Yan Li. First off, setting appointment is horrible. The person's English was not that great. then we communicated using text messages. I said want to see for my hair loss through text message. But they scheduled me for physical check up. I said no, I stated in the text I want to go due to my hair loss. The person obviously could not read my text messages. Then, they tried to charge me $240. I said my copay for PCP is $15. My insurance card actually said DO NOT Collect payment at appointment time. After looking at her computer, looking again, she finally let me not pay and said billing would send me an invoice. saw the nurse, she took one look at me and said we don't treat hair loss or menopause symptoms. She can refer me to dermatology or OB. that's it. 1 minute of her time. Who saw a doctor or nurse for 1 min? she gave me a piece of paper with derms names and phone numbers on it, presumably so they can collect referral fee from the derms. Then when I was inside treatment /consult room waiting for the nurse to come, the receptionist came to me and said "I was able to see, yes you are supposed to pay $15", she brought the payment machine with her. I paid. Whoa, I've never been to a doctor practice who would even chase me to the treatment room to ensure I pay. If they don't treat hair loss, why bother making me come to their office. Once, I was on a call with the receptionist, but the signal was bad, and the call dropped. When I called back, she warned me irritably not to let it happen again! How ridiculous, as if I could control it! But the call dropped again... When I mentioned needing to contact a doctor for a referral, she said she couldn't reach them and then hung up. When I called back, she didn't answer, but when I used a different number, she picked up. However, as soon as she recognized my voice, she immediately hung up again! Additionally, I found out that this clinic takes blood samples before seeing a doctor. Do other clinics do this as well? Last time, I scheduled a physical exam, but after drawing my blood, they told me it couldn't be considered a physical because the time hadn't come yet! The receptionist asked if I wanted to keep the blood sample; if not tested, they would discard it. If tested, there might be a charge. I was very upset and asked why they didn't tell me until after drawing my blood. She just apologized. This place deserves 0 I had a terrible terrible experience. After asking to meet with the doctor she scheduled a phone visit. Called in a completely different time then scheduled and she obviously didn't even look at my chart or why i asked for a visit. After I stopped her to ask her question she completely and rudely ignored me and went on and on with her pre learned lines. After that she said she has too many patients and doesn't have time to stay too long on the phone with me. The whole thing lasted about 2minutes. She then prescribed me an antibiotic. Didn't even ask for allergies or anything like that. So i will be reporting this business as well and hope that they learn to treat patients with more respect in the future. The only doctor I've dealt with has been Doctor Ranjin. She's curt, but to the point, and gives you the info you need. I don't have any complaints with her. The rest of the staff though... Count on your appointments being late, to the point that if you show up on time, the doors will be locked and nobody will be inside. What knocks this down to one star: They billed my insurance $460 for a 10 minute office visit, plus another $20 for lab supplies. Okay, I can see the $20, since they took blood on the first visit. But on the followup visit,they billed the exact same way, when it was a 5 minute visit that involved no lab work - I was in the building less than 15 minutes. They also charged me my copay when I exceeded my out of pocket months ago. They're very pushy about trying to get you to fill your scripts at the neighboring pharmacy. I've reported their billing practices to my insurance company - like I said, they're billing for stuff that was never done (lab supplies when I walked in for a bloodwork followup). They're also apparently either using a pirated or misconfigured version of their patient portal software, as the mobile app version cannot find the practice by name or address. read more

I came here for an immigration examination, and Dr. Li and his staff made the process very quick and efficient. I made an appointment by e-mail on a Thursday, came in the next day for the blood work, PPD test, shots and physical examination, and was told to come back on Monday to have the PPD checked. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with, and they happily accepted my ancient vaccination records written in a foreign language. When I returned on Monday, my PPD was determined to be positive, and I had the chest x-ray done literally five minutes later. I was told the result would take a couple of days to come back, but later that afternoon they called to let me know that all my paperwork was ready. I met the Dr. for less than 10 seconds. They won't even bother going over my blood work results with me, but they will post it on their online database. The nurse practitioner does everything and all she did was take my vitals. What a waste of insurance money! My husband went elsewhere on our insurance and they were so comprehensive. The Dr. listened to his concerns and went over his vitals and blood work. Now I have to go analyze my own blood work and go to another dr to address other issues. I can always get a same day appointment or if I call in the afternoon, an appointment the next morning. As with any doctor's office, the earlier you go, the shorter wait time you have. I like that they can do X-Rays and draw blood onsite. Dr. Li is great and the other providers are good as well. I do not feel the time with the provider is rushed. Receptionist does not know what their doing specially named Crustal! They just want to get rid of you right away without doing a further search. Specially lady named Crystal she was so rude and was no help at all! Good thing the other lady named "CC" asian lady who really helped and assisted me. Go find other Center. This is the cheapest, and I think I got what I paid for. I am just getting my docs for my son's check up result and it took me more than an hour wait time. They even had me an appointment just to pick it up. At first they couldn't find it, then asked me that they need my son's immunization record where in they had a copy of it. I get out of their clinic driving back home to get the immunization record then they called me and said that they have the record and the document is ready. Drove back to them and guess what the document is not ready. Waited waited and waited for more than an hour. Very very bad service! They don't even deserve a one star. read more

The new offices are awesome! Dr Li has been my husbands primary for over 15 years and mine for 8 - we wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr Li always has time for us if there is an emergency and he answers questions, responds to refills etc. quickly via the online portal. We can access blood work and tests online which takes the frustration out of waiting for a phone call. I'm super excited because in addition to the pharmacy in the building for convenience they now offer medical massage. I have arthritis and back issues and booked my first medical massage with Leticia yesterday. Her knowledge and level of skill is exceptional. It's a comfort to know this type of treatment is now available. Dr Li has raised the bar of excellence for comprehensive patient care with the new Omni offices. Thank you! read more

One star bc I don't have the option to give it zero star. Very very impatient doctor and the wait time is just ridiculous. The doctor seems like they don't know what they are doing. Literally every single time I go there, the reception is very rude and I have to wait for hours to see the doctor for like 1 min. Plus they never get my problems fixed and seems to be randomly trying treatments to see if it works. Yan Li is okay but seems to never know what to do. Xiaoqin pan is very rude to her patients. 1. The average wait from the time you walk in to you actually seeing the doctor is about 45 minutes. So be prepared you have a fully charged phone while you waste time sitting and waiting. 2. They want you to pay out-of -pocket first even if you have more than enough balance in HRA account to cover the office visit cost, ( I understand their risk of not being able to collect their money back so I paid up front every time). However, after you actually pay them, the nightmare then begins. They claimed that they will credit your money back once they receive the payment from insurance company which normally take about 2 - 4 weeks. I understand this could be a long process however the frustrating part is that they neither will remind you, nor following up with you, you will have to remind yourself and keep calling in to double check that they still remember and to check the status. I had an office visit back in 2016 November and so far I have made more than 6 phone calls and still yet to receive my reimbursement back. That's almost four months. The last time I called was back in January and was told " Dr. Li has lots of patients he's too busy to review the insurance claims" Excuse me ? I'm not sure if I'm being too harsh on them or this really is not very reasonable to tell your patient to wait and to self-remind in case the Doctor is too busy to care for your money. I normally don't do any reviews on Yelp but the reason why I'm posting is because I just called again ( about 4 weeks from my last call with them) and the response I received is that they accidentally offset my credit with my another visit so they have to see what they can do to credit it back to me. read more

Unlike the other reviewer, I had a terrible experience at Omni for the same thing (immigration examination, I-693). However, a caveat: I did not actually see Dr. Li. Instead I saw an Indian doctor, so maybe my experience would have been better if I had actually seen Dr. Li. In any case, anyone considering Omni should probably ask specifically for Dr. Li. Anyway, I get there and had to wait - but nothing out of the ordinary, just your usual mandatory 15 minute wait in the lobby. Once I got inside, they start with the blood work. The nurse or tech or whoever SUCKED. She stuck me twice and failed to actually get blood both times. My mom was with me because I absolutely hate needles and didn't want to go by myself. So while I was turned the other way so I didn't have to see the needle, she was facing me, watching the nurse/tech (attempt to) draw blood. She looked completely horrified by what the nurse/tech was doing. Later, she told me that when the initial puncture failed to hit a vein, the nurse/tech started just wiggling the needle around in hopes of getting lucky. After the second failed attempt, the nurse/tech gave up and called another nurse/tech. At this point, I mentioned that the previous times I've had blood drawn, the nurses/techs have generally used the smallest needle (beacuse I usually express a terror of needles before having my blood drawn). Her response? "You should have told me that." So apparently it's my fault she sucks at her job. The second nurse/tech did (finally) succeed in drawing blood but left a huge bruise on my arm. For the next two weeks, my arms looked like I was shooting up regularly. My PPD had a false positive, and the girl up front was less than professional about it. She didn't even bother to actually measure it; she just wrote down a number and told me I had to get a chest x-ray. Having no real choice, I coughed up the extra money and got my chest x-rayed. That was all four months ago. I went to my I-485 interview last week and was told the doctor failed to fill out my form as required. It was such a stupid mistake that the immigration officer was angry for me. The problem? He/She skipped an entire section. So now I have to go back and get it redone. The really annoying thing is I've moved to Houston since then, and so I have to make a trip back to get it fixed. They better get it right this time... read more

I am giving this place 1 star because of horrendous service. I had an appointment with the dr @ 930 by 11 I was still not seen. I ended up walking out of the clinic. The front office was really annoyed too that I asked my copayment to be refunded. Something has to be said when the dr calls me 5 min after I left to tell me that he can now see me immediately. The dr seems nice enough but he needs to think about getting a new front office staff. Nevertheless, the hunt for a new pcp begins again. read more

I could give a -ve rating for this facility. Intially when I booked appointment , they gave me a reasonable price for my immigration health cehckup. Once we visited the hospital , unnecessarily they are asking us to take more vaccinations ( just for the sake of charging money) . They forced us to take flu vaccinations , even though flu season is officially over and charged $60 for that. No one suggested us to have second dose of MMR for immigration forms , but they again forced us to take that. Fake facility just working to make more money. please don't go. read more

Where do i start. 1) most of the staff does not know English so be prepared to repeat all your info and questions 3 times and spell you name and address over and over. 2) you'll be seen after at least a 45 or more minute wait. 3) if you leave a message for a doctor, you will never get a return call. If you need a prescription refill, you will be required to see the doctor instead of calling it into your pharmacy. I don't trust my body and my health to their poor practice management. read more

Going to the doctor is never enjoyable but I have always had a great experience with the doctors and staff at Omni Medical Center. I have only seen Dr. Li once but I have gone to see Dr. Ranjan many times and she continues to be kind and professional. I have seen a few complaints about pricing but it seems to be the standard costs for an ENT visit. It is affordable for me. 40$ copay w/insurance and $60 without, plus Dr. Ranjan will work with you and prescribe medications that are more economical for your budget. I have never felt like they were taking advantage of me, they are always honest. The front desk staff is fairly nice and the nurses are well-trained. The wait time has never been more than 15 minutes ( it is usually under 10) and I have seen her around 5 times now for different reasons ( it was an unfortunate year). If it helps, I normally schedule my appointments in the afternoon not the morning so maybe the volume of patients decreases around that time. If you need medical expertise you should keep Dr. Ranjan in mind, she is an amicable, professional, and knowledgeable doctor that I will continue to consult for all of my medical needs. read more
