Omni Medical Center has been open during the holidays. They are very busy with a lot of patients, but services are excellent and no delays!!

Typical non thinking texan. Andy you know texans cannot independently think for themselves they must be babysat. After doing the initial blood work the new clinic started asking my a lot of questions about my previous treatments and why my doses were so high. I did not have any answered other than that's what TCT stated I needed. Now after 6 weeks, we did another blood test to check my levels and indeed my doses were way too high. It was nice to see my new clinic actually cared enough to check, then check again and explain everything to me. 2- TCT stopped taking insurance which is not a big deal since I could just pay once a month for everything per the conversation I had with Andy Lee(no longer at that location). I started receiving bills from my insurance and I was paying them. Come to find out I was paying monthly and they were bill insurance at the same time. I got copies of all my receipts and sent them over to TCT to be refunded as I was double paying. Here is where they showed their true colors... I was told by Augie Galindo that because I was offered a deal to pay out of pocket by Andy(when he was still there)that I do not get a refund from paying twice and they refused to refund/pro-rate for the last two weeks after I switched clinics. I also know two other guys that used to be patients at TCT that had billing/up charging issues as well that left. While this may not occur to everyone, the fact they refuse to make it right tells you everything you need to know! Please, go get a second opinion from another T doctor. I hope this helps y'all. Follow up: Someone responded and made excuses and not once did they offer to make it right! DO NOT use this place!

Nothing has changed except now we are being told that our visit also included an "office visit" and we were each billed about $135. I've called everyone I could think of and written our doctor without receiving any explanation. Apparently, at some point our "wellness visit" became an "office visit" without us being advised that charges were being incurred. I don't mind paying for something but I do want to be able to make that decision myself whether I want the additional services rather than having them surprise me with the bill weeks later. I've reached out to the doctor, office manager, patient relations and anyone else I could think of. I've been told by some of the agents that this is the NUMBER ONE complaint that they get but that the executives just ignore the pleas of the agents so the executives can increase their revenues. How sad is it that this large company that provides services to the elderly are bilking seniors just to increase their profits. I've sought help and can't even get a return phone call from anyone. Surely, I'm not the only one with this horrific experience. My next contact is going to be with the Attorney General's office, Consumer Protection division. Maybe they can help fix this injustice.

My palms were pretty wrecked once I got home and tried washing up. After popping a bunch of Advil to try and blast the inflammation I still couldn't walk. My mom said I'd better go get an X-ray so I figured it couldn't hurt. I was able to make an appointment at Texas Breeze which was helpful and allowed me time to figure out how I'd drive here and get checked out. X-rays came back fine and they washed me up again with a bit of antiseptic. I got bandaged up like some low budget Rocky Balboa before a match but had to remove this before leaving because it was really painful and restrictive which would pose even more difficulty to me driving myself here. All in all it, they were helpful in terms of providing some peace of mind with the X-ray results but didn't do much else that I hadn't already done at home. The PA ordered an antibiotic for me since I have a bunch of missing flesh. I felt grateful to have that order in, just in case. The last thing I'd need is some sort of infection due to these wounds. If you need an urgent care with seemingly better hours than others nearby and the capability to schedule an appointment this center has that. My co pay was $75 which I didn't love but they had the ability to do X-rays on site which was my top priority (or my mother's). Seeing as though I'm here solo, I wanted to ensure I was fine enough and taking proper care of the situation. The staff were helpful enough.

Despite multiple requests over three days, the staff did not provide her with an incentive spirometer--a simple, standard device widely recommended for pneumonia patients. It encourages slow, deep breathing to help fully inflate the lungs, loosen and clear mucus, prevent further collapse of air sacs, and support faster recovery. Medical sources (including guidelines from places like MedlinePlus, Cleveland Clinic, and respiratory therapy references) commonly advise its use in hospital settings for lung illnesses like pneumonia, particularly to aid breathing and reduce risks in elderly or bedbound patients. I had to escalate the matter to the nurse manager before one was finally provided. Compounding the issue, her assigned nurse was dismissive and somewhat rude during interactions. I recognize that hospitals face high demands, but for an elderly patient with bacterial pneumonia, basic tools like this--along with attentive, respectful care--should be standard and not require persistent family advocacy. This experience fell short of what I'd expect for vulnerable patients. If you're weighing options for yourself or a loved one needing care (especially respiratory issues), I strongly suggest considering other facilities based on what we went through. Prioritizing places with stronger emphasis on timely basics and compassionate nursing can make a real difference. Wishing your loved ones better experiences wherever care is needed.

Because of the severity of his condition, he was admitted right away. We spent some time in an ER room before he was transferred to the PICU, and after one night there, we moved to the general floor for a few more days. We are truly so impressed by the level of care. Per my son's request, we want to give a very special shout-out to Nurse Graziella, she is so kind and loving! They made his stay as comforting as possible: therapy dog visits, an Xbox in the room, card games, coloring supplies, and other activities that helped keep his spirits high. As a mom, I appreciated the little things, too: including a nice coffee shop inside and surprisingly good cafeteria food. When it was finally time to go home, my son cried all the way to the car because he loved the hospital and the staff so much - that says everything!
