For about 7 years I have been coming here dropping off copper, usually best price hands down…read more Today was not one of those days, the boys working the line are incompetent, copper heat exchangers same ones I have been turning in for 7 years they decided today they were bronze and robbed me of several 100 dollars, their response.... You can pack it all back up.... Its was nearly 1000lb of copper they decided wasn't copper and knew I wouldn't want to load that all back up. Unreal criminal crooks. They are copper heat exchangers all day every day from pool heaters not bronze or brass or whatever else they wanna call it that day. The guys operating this recycle shack are extremely rude. The one guy who took our recycling and weighed it was on the phone the entire time on a personal call. He was not paying attention to anything going on and then he started grabbing another customer's recycling and adding it to my order. We (the other customer and I) had to tell him about the mix up and he seemed irritated, yet it was his mistake. He just handed over some cash. No receipt, no documentation at all of what was turned in. Who knows if the amount of cash was correct. Meanwhile another guy working here was walking back and forth through the entire area moving bags of bottles and cans around while smoking a cigarette! Absolutely gross.

It is so conveniently located and easy to pull-in and get out. They've finally reopened under new management and I couldn't be anymore enthused to recycle again. Today was a Sunday and I was excited to see they were open till 345p. I already had recyclables separated. The guy helping me was super nice and quickly weighed my three loaded trash cans. I asked if the recycle used batteries, but they do not. Still great they take many other materials including cardboard. The cashier was very friendly as we bonded over the time change. With that said, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Current CRV Rates: #1 Plastic $1.470 CRV Glass $0.102 Alum Cans $1.650 Highly recommended.
