This place is always nice and clean, I've been there a few times. However, today when I visited I came across a very rude employee. When I approached him, I said, "Good Morning," no response. I asked if there was a container for glass, he finally responded with words and said," they are not accepting glass today," never looked up or turn around to acknowledge my presence. This is unacceptable and he don't have to worry about being rude to me never again. Bad customer service really sucks. read more

Tony was amazing. This is my first time visiting and he helped explain what I needed to do. The location is hidden but accessible from the South street driveway. You could use Woodruff but you would have to zig zag around the retail stores. The recycling center was very clean and organized. I was impressed with how clean it was considering. I've heard stories about other recycling centers with liquid on the ground trash all over the place, but that was not the case with the center. Definitely recommend those at recycle to visit this center. The photo that's included in this yelp review displays their prices. So compare it with other locations if you are a recycler to determine whether it's a benefit to you. read more

This used to be my favorite recycling center until this past weekend. We loaded up the car with bags and bags of plastic bottles and aluminum cans to turn in. Drove here and arrived just after 9 AM. Per their posted hours, they should have been open at 9 AM on Saturday. We parked outside and waited for nearly 30 minutes and nobody showed up! There were multiple other customers who parked and we all ended up leaving and had to go elsewhere. Terrible service! ZERO STARS! read more

Please disregard my last review, they now accept glass bottles. This place is not as busy as the recycling center down the street at the corner of South and Woodruff. PLUS they give better returns on your recyclables. The person at this facility I dealt with was very kind and considerate. read more

Always frequent this recycling location as the customer service is not only great but efficient as well. The older gentleman helping me today was friendly. He seemed to be getting back from his lunch break around the time I arrived. I'm assuming they're closed for lunch around 12-1ish so do keep that in mind. Express Recycling is BEHIND Ross. Look for the little street signs and drive all the way in... There are actually two ways to get around to the back of the building! Service was very friendly and helpful! The pleasant worker even joked around and chatted with customers! Efficiently, I signed for my cash and was on my way! Thank you! Quick and easy. In and out, actually, just out because its a small shack with an attendant. This recycling center is behind the Grocery Outlet / Ross Shopping center. Enter in through a driveway near the nursery on South Street or through the side on Woodruff. Found this recycling center on Yelp, and y'all came through with this one. I started going to the CSULB recycling center, but they closed down, so I was looking for another spot. COVID has us piling up on all sorts of bottles and cans. PROS: - no smelly environment, like other recycling centers that also double as junkers that can smell like a mix of oil and beer. - large, open air lot. - readily available baskets and containers to sort your plastics, glass, and aluminum. - no exchange of cash. You are printed a check and sent on your merry way. Checks are from Wells Fargo Bank. - helpful attendant who can answer questions for you. I had several, since this was my first time there. - they will take your opaque milk and plastic juice jugs. CONS: Not a damn thing. Seriously, it was my first time here and the process was easy, peasy. Not sure if this place pays the best in exchange for your recyclables, but I'm going to keep coming just because it's close to me and they made the process so easy.
