I went shopping at Omnibus to find a stunning gown to change into for my wedding day just about two months before my actual wedding. When I arrived at Omnibus I was greeted with open arms and I felt the staffs excitement for my wedding day. They took one look at me and said I have the perfect gown for you. Well they pulled out this dazzling silky gown completely beaded and fit like a glove. I was in love and knew I came to the right place. I purchased the dress at that moment they started the process for some areas that needed a little tightening. I then came back a few weeks later and picked up my gown. EVERYONE LOVED THIS DRESS and it looked FABULOUS in photos. I went back in another time with my mother to find her the most perfect mother of the bride gown. My mother was treated as if she was their own mother and they took the time to make sure she was comfortable in the gown and felt beautiful as she is. (She does not wear dresses ever) They did a fantastic job on the alterations and even made her a shawl with leftover material to make her even more happy. Really disappointed with my experience here. Was shopping with my future mother and sister in law for a mother of the groom gown. Made an appointment in advance. Told them what I was looking for. We showed up, they booked what felt like was a full house for other people to also try on. Every fitting room was filled and we were combing around people in the store. I will say, they had a solid amount of larger sized dresses, which I really appreciated. I did feel like our consultant did not listen to us, AT ALL. My mother in law carries her weight in her stomach, yet the consultant continued to give us dresses that brought this out, not hid it. We finally found 1 dress we liked and it was over $1000. I did read the reviews ahead of time that said that unless you were a size 2, not to go here. I'm sad to say I felt the same way as those reviews and definitely would not be back. read more

The initial dress for my daughter's Prom did not arrive and we came here and worked with Joann. My daughter showed her a photo of the initial dress, they discussed what her look was going to be and then Joann went to work. My daughter tried on the style of her initial dress but went with one of the dresses that Joann found. The women in the alterations department were so thoughtful and professional, they do magical work. There was also a gentleman that helped us during our alteration appointments that was extremely knowledgable and helped my daughter finish her look. read more

Although the store employee was helpful in trying to assist us in finding the right dresses, my daughter and I observed her and a younger employee smirking at us and apparently finding it funny that we were looking for "garden attire" for an upcoming bridal shower. My mom was looking for a MOB dress for my November wedding. We went here and were helped by Anna. She was so patient and kind. My mom had an idea in her head and Anna ran with it. She pulled dresses that my mom loved. We were concerned about the price of some of the dresses, Anna was quick to help us get a discount. We spent almost 2 hours with her. Not once did we feel rushed or like we were being annoying (we know we were, but she never we showed it). I walked into the store and started talking to the owner... I let her know that I recommend many people here and that many of them purchased dresses including mother of the bride, and proms. The owner was extremely rude, corrected me rudely, and then rudely asked me what I wanted. Unfortunately, she thought she was Gods gift to the world.... I was going to buy a shirt that I saw however since she was so rude she will not get my business or my recommendations again. I called for an appointment, the person who answered was very nice and scheduled me an appointment the next day due to a cancellation. Consultant would simply walk away and get lost without saying a word. Saw him hanging out in the back room getting some water and chatting Finally came back and said sorry, and that was it, appointment over in 20 minutes. If you're looking for sequins, beads and bling, lots to choose from, otherwise, nothing. Also, unless you're a size 2 they pull hideous dresses for you to try and then try to convince you to try them on just to see. I was looking for something more on the simple side, not too flashy, he brought me a dress that looked like metallic, two-toned foil and black dresses. Good selection of dresses but service is terrible including alterations. I bought two dresses here in one visit. One for prom and one for my daughters sweet sixteen. The prom dress was my first terrible experience-when we went back for alterations the seamstress was obnoxious and not listening to a word my daughter was saying. After going back twice and her not getting it right - I asked if the manager/owner was there to express my dissatisfaction and the salesgirl said no but did not offer a call back or anything except a sad face. I informed her that I was bringing the prom dress to my own seamstress to get it the way my daughter desired. Again no response. You would think at that point someone would have escalated the complaint. Now it gets better - I just brought my other daughter's sweet sixteen dress to my own seamstress since I don't trust Omnibus and LOOK at what we found! A patch of sequins were missing on the dress. I've heard wonderful things about Omnibus - I actually sent my daughter-in-law there with her mom and she bought a stunning gown for our children's wedding. Fast forward two years and I'm in search of a MOB gown this time. Alex was the absolute best - while I gave him a list of gowns I loved - none were in the store - he matched my taste and style all the way with gowns that were so stunning - I couldn't choose. We laughed - got serious and "oohed" and "aahed" a lot. I was with my daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and niece - we had ourselves a great time. Alex had the patience of a saint and I lost track of how many gowns I tried on. My choices were amazing. I wound up purchasing an original design that was breathtaking - I didn't know Omnibus had their own custom designs.. I love the fact that Alex went through the gown with a fine tooth comb and the changes that I want could be very easily done. I spoke with the manager Karen today because I had some concerns and she was just incredible. She understood and reassured me. I came here to shop for a prom dress years ago. The staff members who I dealt with were all extremely rude and unprofessional. They body-shamed pretty much everyone who was trying to look for dresses. The sales associate referred to my friend who has a petite, yet curvy body as a "peanut" and then told her after her dress alterations were complete: "wow - we really did a lot of work to this dress" simply because she's on the shorter side and the dress was a mermaid style. I went to go look for prom dresses and the selection was decent at best. There was plenty of different price ranges but not enough size selections. First I had to sign in and leave the coffee I brought. Not a problem until I couldn't take the dresses off the racks. I had to wait for someone just to take the dress off the rack for me and a fitting room. Again not a problem until I waited and kept waiting for other girls to be helped instead of me. I waited for 20 minutes by the desk and no one bothered to ask why I was still standing by the desk. I wasn't planning on bringing it up but I had two dress I was really interested in. Finally when I brought it up the woman at the counter moved me to the top of the list but the sales woman didn't seem to happy to help me. It wasn't worth waiting to try on two dresses. It was suggested that I go here through many people on FB, along with a few other places as well, but this was my first stop to look for a MOG dress. An employee by the name of Brittany came out to assist us. My son and future DIL explained to Brittany exactly the style, length and colors of the dress I was looking for. Brittany did all the work and I have to tell you, she came out with the right dresses. She was right there the entire time while I tried on, took off, tried another, took it off. What most impressed me was how much she knows her job. Though I ended up finding a dress at another place, I would most definitely recommend this place and Brittany to help you because they do have a great selection and Brittany knows how to pull the dresses when you tell her what you are looking for. I normally do not write negative reviews but my experience there was horrific! The woman that was helping us was body shaming and not COVID compliant. Two of the staff members were not wearing masks and even brought someone into our space for our private fittings. We purposely made an appointment so that we had a private area yet someone was brought within 6 feet of us to try on a dress. I was looked at from head to toe and never offered assistance the entire time I browsed yet others who came in after me were assisted. I walked out feeling upset I was discriminated against. This place is awful, do not come here for a dress for any important events. We were highly let down. I came here with my mother in December of 2013 to buy her a mother of the bride dress for my June 2014 wedding. We purchased one that day but because the sales girl said that the dress came with a shawl that could be made into a jacket. The sample dress they had at the store had a shawl in the same fabric of the dress and in the same color. My mother has scar tissue on her arms and wanted a dress with sleeves or a jacket, the only reason we bought this dress is because the shawl was included. The dress was $500 and came in a few weeks later with the correct shawl. However the dress that came in was dirty and did need to be sent back and exchanged for a new one, no problem. A few weeks after that a new, clean dress came, however it came without a shawl. $300 in alterations on the dress itself, still no shawl. Finally they call and say they have a shawl so my mother goes down only to find that it's the wrong color, completely different than the dress, which she of course declined to take wanting the one that matched the dress. They call again and she goes down only to find that it's still the wrong color and now also the wrong fabric. They clearly lost her shawl and after spending $800 and wasting 5 months of our time we still don't have what we need. We are leaving for my destination wedding in 2 weeks and now are running around to fabric stores to find fabric to match, among the millions of other things we need to be doing to prepare for our trip and event. I called on behalf of my mom and the woman was very unhelpful and unapologetic. This was a horrible experience, don't waste your time or money here. read more

Purchased a prom dress for my daughter in February. Our initial experience was positive, but unfortunately it was all down hill from there. Picking up the altered dress was a nightmare. The only alteration my daughter needed was the length shortened a bit. Her dress had a beautiful train, and although we acknowledged the train length needed to be reduced, we arrived to find most of it was gone. Not only that, it looked as if someone hastily cut it with cheap scissors, resulting in an uneven, jagged edge. This dress was not inexpensive. Once they made that sale and it was paid in full, we were not as important. So now, with prom a week away, we had no choice take home a dress that was not what we initially envisioned, with a young girl in tears. Yes, I realize there are more important things to be upset about, but bottom line is a customer should feel valued through the entire process, and leave happy. This was a complete fail Omnibus.
