I was here today looking for a prom dress and I've been to several stores already but the staff here were by far the most nicest and most helpful. It's a small store but there are so many options and they can get the dress in different color options. I haven't bought anything yet but i am thinking about a couple of the dresses from there and i would rather buy my dress there than anywhere else just because of the staff. I've used them twice now. Once for my older daughters prom and now for my younger daughters sweet sixteen. Both experiences were wonderful. Attentive service, endless patience, no pressure and for such a small store they have a great selection! Not to mention that for my daughters prom they kept track of all the dresses they sold to the girls attending to make sure they don't sell two girls the same dress!!! My daughter and I went to this boutique for her sweet 16 dress. This was such a pleasant experience. My daughter told them what kind of dress she was looking for and they ran with it. They gave her the red carpet experience. They gave her shoes and a tiara to complete the look. They did not rush her into making a decision. My twins needed dresses for junior prom this was an absolutely great boutique!!! Beautiful selection of dresses plus super helpful staff!! I love that they request you wear white gloves when trying on the dresses so they stay clean. We had a great experience and highly recommend this store!! We will be back for senior prom!! read more

Last year I brought my daughter's Junior Prom dress here and the experience was so amazing it was the first and only stop to buy the Senior Prom dress. My daughter did not know what kind of dress she was looking for. It took not even 3 minutes for Doreen to pull dresses and have her try them on so she could see what her style was. Fifteen minutes later we were deciding between two dresses, one nicer than the next. The upscale service was beyond any expectations I had for buying something like this. The cleanliness is terrific as each customer has to wear thin white gloves so make sure nothing from their hands gets on a dress. Their selection is tremendous. After the week I've had, I really wanted to give this store a one-star review, but I want to be fair. I have bought THREE dresses from La Chic Boutique. All those times, the shopping experience was a dream -- helpful salespeople, lovely merchandise. However, after buying a lovely short dress a week ago for her senior banquet and posting the dress on social media, my daughter has had to endure cyber-bullying and angst. ALL OVER A DRESS. It turns out, my daughter bought the same dress as another girl in her school. You might think, Who cares? Just like I did. You might think this has nothing to do with the boutique. Honestly, I do not blame the boutique for this. I didn't expect the store to keep track of who bought what. I mean, there are some 250 senior girls in my daughter's high school, and they're all buying off the rack. Surely, there will be some duplicates, no? Plus, my daughter doesn't care if another student wears the same dress. She knows her beauty comes from within, not from a piece of fabric. However, I've learned that not everyone feels that way. I'm told that the other student's mother contacted the store to complain. That's fine. Mothers need to do what they need to do. However, what is most surprising to me is that the STORE called me the very next day. Why? The owner said -- by law -- she could not tell me to return the dress, but kept telling me I COULD, even when I told her we were happy with our purchase. I have never, never had this experience before from a shop -- and I do try to shop local and small mom-and-pop businesses to support them. Then began the full-court press. The cyber-bullying. The other girl's mother contacted me through social media (not by phone) to tell me the store told me to return the dress, even though it had not. Long story short, what had begun as a lovely experience became a bit of a nightmare, but luckily my daughter knows that a dress is not worth it. She initially decided to keep the dress, but the pressure continued, which is not the store's fault, I understand. But I kind of feel like indirectly it was, since the owner could have easily told this other customer that we were just as important as she was and shut this down. Unfortunately, the owner did not. So we returned the dress in the end, and La Chic Boutique lost a customer for life. read more

Margurite and Gina could not have been nicer to my daughter and I. Small shop packed with a great selection and brands. Great personal service, yet not pushy. They take a lot of care with their dresses and have each girl wear thin cotton gloves while trying on. I love this, as many other larger stores have inventory that is damaged and worn looking. My daughter got a beautiful dress here and I would definitely return. read more

Well I went in looking for a dress for my senior prom and was shocked with what was said to me. This is a small store so it can be a little crowded so to make things easier the staff made a sign up sheet so that each person could get into the dressing rooms. My name was on this list. A staff member then asked if I was here with my mother and I said no and she proceeded to tell me that I was not allowed to try on any of the dresses and that the young ladies accompanied by their mothers had to be accommodated first! I was so shocked. I then said that I have my own credit card and would be paying for this dress without my mother's help which the staff member was then glad to let me try on her dress. I told her she could take my name right off that list! Very rude for these workers to only care about my mommy's money! God Forbid that women were to say that to a child without a mother. Due to this unnecessary rudeness I will not shop here and will tell my friends to beware of the sas they might receive. read more
