Decided to purchase a pair and see if they could be adapted to the passenger side. Looked online and found a set for a decent price from Subaru Parts Pros. They shipped quickly. Found that the passenger side had holes that would work, with just a minor cut of the cloth floor mat. So no drilling, just punch a couple of holes in the passenger side mat. In less than 10 minutes, the passenger mat is as secure as the driver side. Will definitely keep this company on file for when I need items for the Forester.
