When he showed up, he didn't let me know he was at my house, he just went straight to work, which I thought was odd but dismissed it. Once I realized he was out there, I apologized that my van was so dirty and said I understood if he needed to upcharge for it. He said it was fine. Once he finished I went to pay and my Cashapp was acting up. I was going to send $40 more than what he asked, but I wanted to make sure he got paid so I texted my husband and told him to send at least $20 more than what Terrence charged. My husband had just received some upsetting new from his mother so he just sent the lower amount. Later I discovered that the parts of my car were completely soaked, so I was a little less satisfied than I originally was. Terrence messaged me the following morning asking if I had paid him. I told him that my husband had. He said that he saw me type in the $40 more, not just $20. I had left him on read for a few minutes as I was getting my son's breakfast ready and it was Thanksgiving morning. He replied that it's fine and only will be accepted once and blocked me. I accidentally called and hung up to text him and explain so he called back. When I told him who I was he hung up on me. I left him a voice mail trying to explain the situation and that maybe instead of banking on getting great tips, he should have accepted when I offered to pay extra for my van being dirty or charge more. I also told him that had he been more respectful about the situation, I would have sent him the difference. I texted him the same thing and went on about my weekend. He decided to try to text me this morning to continue on about it. TLDR; Terrence did a good job cleaning but may leave your car soaked, and has terrible communication skills. He charges great rates, but may get bitter if you don't tip 50% or more. My 30% tip wasn't good enough. Don't bring your car to him if you don't clean it first. He also called me weeks later to try to debate my review, then texted me to try to argue about it. His lack of professionalism is disappointing.
