Our kitchen faucet was leaking for some time and even though I bought a replacement from Lowe's wanting to install it myself... It's better to ask the Pro who does it frequently. So instead of costing 125.00 it ended up costing 225.000 Not including the cost of the other toilet we had to purchase. I couldn't fix it so I bought a new faucet but wasn't comfortable removing the old faucet and installing the new one myself. I've been wanting to do some home touchups for a while now, and finally got around to buying products and looking for a good contractor. I used Yelp to submit my project and receive quotes. Of the 4 companies that replied, 2 said to call them to get an estimate, 1 took a long time to reply, and 1 gave me an estimate within 12 hours - that was Ron at On Point Handyman. The price was reasonable and he provided a lot of detail for what was included. I decided to ask him about a few other improvements to see if he was interested. He was able to handle it all! First, I replaced two toilets with the new high efficiency ones from Kohler. No problem: Ron got those installed securely with ease. Next, I replaced two builder grade vanity tops with new granite ones, along with two new faucet sets. Ron provided design feedback, pulled off the old vanity tops, and got the new ones settled very easily. He even took the time to explain how to best care for granite. Finally, I wanted to replace the original vinyl in one bathroom with new glue down. He pulled up the old flooring and shared his concern that the new glue down vinyl could warp just like the old did. He suggested doing a rigid core vinyl plank. I was tied up with work, so he even went to Home Depot and brought me samples. He was able to install the plank and molding faster than the glue down would have been, so overall, I saved money. Everything looks wonderful and works perfectly. For the first time in my experience, the work came in under budget! I have a few other projects that I was going to tackle myself, but after such a positive experience with Ron, will be calling him again instead. read more

Ron was great. I hired him for a simple ceiling fan installation project. He spotted that new boxes were needed in the ceiling and had to build framing due to the age of the home. He had to leave for another job, but came back and got it completed the same day.
