But unfortunately I never got the estimate this owner claims. I did actually call and I was told "we're working on it and will have the estimate to you within the next week" - this was 2 weeks after the estimate was supposed to be emailed to me. Fortunately I did find wonderful contractors who did actually come to my house twice, once for the initial consultation and once more to double check the ascetics before finalizing the estimate- this other company I ended up hiring and was very happy. The job was $47,000 and this other company did a beautiful job.

This major project began when I hired a nightmare contractor who took tens of thousands of dollars and left my house as a complete demo zone. Overcharged my home owners insurance. Charged my home owner insurance a full basement worth of flooring. The job only required a third of the basement at best. They also ran out of flooring and had to use the extra flooring I still had in my basement. Workers also took a 90 min lunch break on top showing up late and leaving early. Wish led to this job being a week longer then required. They overcharge the insurance company for a custom cabinet to be built, but in reality all they had to do was reinstall it. The job was below sub par. The door didn't close and the shelves fell a part. Avoid this company like the plague and don't use at all. And they asked for my WIFI Password. ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION HERE.
