On the Edge Gallery is located in a old Town Scottsdale. Here you will find the works of many local talented artists. They had a working artist who I had seen in the past in another gallery. This artists uses pyrography; an art technique using a burning tool to etch designs into wood. We spoke for several minutes about his techniques. Once he burns the wood, he then colors portions of the wood to enhance his design. Other techniques you will see are felting, Clay, painting, mixed media and jewelry. I stop by the Thursday Scottsdale Artwalk often and enjoy coming to this gallery. On the Edge showcases a number of local artists around the Valley. Sometimes you can catch one of them crafting their work in person. On the Edge Gallery has been open since 2012 and displays artwork from over forty Juried AZ artists. I stopped in recently to see a friend's artwork on display here. The collection here at On the Edge is a nice mix of paintings, photography, sculpture, wood, glass, jewelry and mixed media. If you are ever at the Thursday Artwalk, there is a lot to see here. read more

This gallery has a great selection of local artists in the art district of old town Scottsdale. The service is great , because it's a coOp of artists and they take turns managing the gallery. Priced vary but you can definitely get a bang your buck, which is something I generally wouldn't say about fine art, but prices aren't necessarily in the thousands that the other gallery's on the street are. Allot of the work is truly exceptional and I've bought several pieces from them, including from the same artist. read more

A definite jewel in the desert. This gallery features a of multitude of artist. There's definitely something here for everyone. The gallery is light and bright and full of beautiful things! The people working there are actually artists themselves. Very kind and willing to talk about the art. Sometimes you might even find someone working on their own art. This is fantastic. While attending a spring training baseball game in Scottsdale, I stumbled upon this gallery only to be amazed by the quality and quantity of genuine southwest artisan art pieces. Meeting and talking to the artists rather than a gallery representative allows me to make a personal connection to the art. I'm a big fan of several artists in this gallery, especially the watercolors by Andrea Merican. This is one of my very favorite galleries in Old Town Scottsdale. This warm, friendly coop art gallery is run by the artists who show their work here. I was pleased to find a wide range of media, including paintings, sculpture, jewelry and art objects in a range of price points that I could afford. Check out Jenny Willigrod's beautifully colored whimsical contemporary Southwestern pastels, one of my favorite artists...and Judy Yates makes some of my favorite jewelry. Yesterday was my first opportunity to go into the On the Edge Gallery. I was interested in seeing the watercolors by Andrea Merican. She was also doing a watercolor demonstration along with several other artists working in their media. It was a very positive experience and I loved the variety and quality of the artwork in the gallery. Ranging from scarves to paintings to pottery and gourds, jewlery and miniatures. Prices were reasonable and there were many smaller items which were perfect for gift giving. I will definitely return to this shop in the future! read more

I had a wonderful experience shopping at "On The Edge Gallery" that I'd love to share with you. Upon walking into the gallery I was greeted by two lovely lady's that were helpful & informative. I found three awesome gifts to purchase. And as I was paying for them one of the sales lady's was placing each item in it's own beautiful lavender mesh bag then in a gift bag with colorful tissue paper. It was so beautifully done.
