The whole thing ate kind of 'dry' like it needed a spritz of olive oil and some acid, maybe a squeeze of lemon. The arugula was dry as a bone. Didn't offer any of the pepperiness you'd normally expect. For 15$ it was ok but def with a few tweaks it could've been delicious. I didn't try any baked goods. My favorite spot in Powell River…read more Best coffee I've found in Powell River (significantly better coffee than River City). They use a lighter roast with some acidity which is my general preference (no burnt taste), and they make a very solid cappuccino. Baked goods are also quality and they do tasty sandwiches with fresh and seasonal ingredients. It's $15 for a sandwich, with 25% off for day-old sandwiches (which is such a great idea from a food sustainability perspective). Ambiance has a cool hipster vibe with big windows, lots of natural light, and wooden tables. It's a great place to get some work done or catch up with a friend. Service is always friendly and polite. They also have a gift shop with local artists' work to peruse. Great spot. I come here every time I'm in town.
