I was surprised at the alcohol variety packed into one store (and in this neighborhood of all places!); it was dense but in no way overwhelming. They have everything and anything from vodka, moscato d'asi to upperclass champagne and Hennessy etc. Everything is very well organized by range and the place was POPPIN' inside for a Friday evening. The employees here were very helpful and nice. They emitted an old school, everyone-knows-everyone-in-the-neighborhood sort of vibe and I respect that. MDWL will forever be my go-to shop for all libation needs. PS, you must spend $15+ in order to use a credit/debit card.

I stopped by to get some wine on the way to dinner at a friend's and I had no time to go to my favorite spot. The place has a large variety of products and the prices are not bad, where it suffers is that there is not a great wine selection, and as I am not a wine connosseur, no one in the shop could reccomend anything except to point out where the Malbec was hidden when I asked for it. I guess the area is not big for wine drinkers, and it does have a good selection of liquor, just that for a place of its size (and the inside still seems cramped) it has that "order your liquor quick from the guy behind the bulletproof glass and get the hell out quick" vibe, than an open and welcoming place that it really could be.
