I love seeing the pictures of daycare on Facebook every day. My boys always look happy, the other dogs look happy...it's a great time for all. They get excited and amped up every time I tell them that they're going to daycare. Unlike another "boarding/daycare" place in the metro area that we recently had a horrific experience with, it doesn't smell like urine or smell like dog at all, the staff is awesome, they're organized and a pleasure to work with. I have never worried about leaving the boys there because I know that they're well taken care of. An added bonus is that Spring Valley Veterinary is right next door, which happens to be the boys vet, in case they ever need to be seen. One of my cats, Kitty, had been itching her ears constantly and slinging water out of them for a long time. She's had an ear infection before, so I knew that's what it was. I mentioned it multiple times during the visit, but they brushed it off and told me her ears were just "a little dirty." I wasn't comfortable with that answer, so I took her to Galloway afterward. They immediately diagnosed her with an ear infection and gave her ear drops, and she's already doing better. It's frustrating when you trust a vet with your pets and feel like your concerns aren't taken seriously. I just expected more thorough care and attention, especially after specifically pointing out an ongoing issue. I won't be returning.

I am a regular customer here and normally they do a…read moregreat job...however...I have expressed to them three different times now that I do NOT want my dog to have his long hair cut into a mullet. I went away for the weekend and had my wife take my dogs to Pampered Paws for their normal grooming (my wife normally does not take the dogs to the groomer and she doesnt know my expectations). Upon my return home, my dog Jo Jo had a very ugly mullet cut. The staff at Pampered Paws have asked multiple times in the past if they can do a mullet on my dog in which I have told them no. So on the weekend that I do not oversee their grooming, they send my dog home with a mullet. I am very unpleased they did this instead of providing the normal cut I get him. I have a very sour taste in my mouth knowing that they have gone against my known preferences when I pay to have my dogs groomed a certain way. Further, I now have to waste gasoline in an expensive economy to drive to the North side of Springfield (I live on the far south side of Springfield) to get his haircut fixed.
