Do Not Hire This Guy
This individual is a liar and a con artist. He will blow the things out of proportion and will make a small project look like a huge deal and will overcharge you three fold.
I hired him for repairs after a water leak.
He gave me a quote of $2500.00 (labor and material)making it sound like he will have to tear down the walls and the ceiling and then replace it with new Sheetrock. Instead he cut a 2x4 hole in the wall, cleaned the studs and plugged it with Sheetrock. same thing on the other wall 1x1hole and plugged with Sheetrock. Speckled, primed, and sanded that much area and painted. Speckled, primed and sanded one straight line in the ceiling and painted. Replaced the ceiling light.
Worked for like 4 hours a day for 3 days in total. At the end of the first day demanded half of the payment upfront because he had to purchase material. I was not present most of the time because I had my own job to go to. Material costed him around $200.00 ( based on the receipts) and he claimed material to be worth $509.00. In my absence took remainder of the payment from my wife.
He will cheat you wherever he can. Again DO NOT HIRE HIM. He winds too much and makes you believe that a small project is in fact a much bigger project and prices it accordingly. BEWARE OF HIS TRICKS. read more
