I had a very negative experience selling items with this story recently. I've sold many times with several stores around the area, and this was my first time having any issue at all. My items were donated after I did not receive the text that they were finished. When speaking with a manager (Rachel) about the situation, she was very rude, defensive and quick to walk away without even trying to understand my situation at all. I was simply trying to understand what happened and how I could avoid it in the future, but she didn't seem to care, interrupting me multiple times and saying there was nothing she could do. I was very calm and polite when speaking to her, but she was unapologetic and clearly did not care about me as a customer per our conversation. Great place to sell and buy baby clothing and items! I typically buy and sell on Poshmark but due to fees lower priced items are not worth the time and additional costs. Our now infant has now already grown out of so many of his outfits already and it was nice to be able to quickly make room in the closet and make a little cash at the same time! We also found a super cute bassinet in practically new condition for only $45 so that our baby can have a spare while visiting family. They do seem very busy and the turnaround is a bit slow but all in all it was a very positive experience! read more

Store Hours: M-Sat 10am-8pm, Sun Noon-5pm I thought this location was clean and organized. The staff was really friendly. I did not feel the costs were any higher than other Once Upon a Child locations. It wasn't the biggest stock I've ever seen, but good quality for what they did have. I liked that it wasn't too crowded, I had visited another location that was packed and I was constantly being asked to move so they could look in the same section. I would come again. I'm so glad I visited this location again, it has a huge selection compared to what I remembered. Everything was in excellent condition and well organized by size. The staff was helpful, the music was upbeat. I would even venture to say, it is now my favorite out of the three I've visited. I would definitely recommend. read more

I've been here a few times, to this location, that is, and others. With a baby in the house, we are obviously going to be big OUAC users. The place is packed full of stuff, mainly clothes but also toys, gear, etc. This time we were looking for a playpen and a saucer. They had a decent selection of each, and prices are fair. Quality was good- they clean things and make sure they work. Ended up with a saucer for $18- nothing fancy, but in good shape and Baby K loves it. Big selection of clothes. You can trade in your stuff but I haven't tried that side of things yet. Staff are friendly. Lines are often long, just because they're so busy. read more

This location stays surprisingly clean for the amount of traffic that comes and goes. The staff are very focused on handling inventory most of the time, but can be very helpful if you enlist their assistance. I practically leave skipping out every time I visit because I feel like I've made out. I find new or boxed items so often and at less than half the retail value. I've brought a few things in to sell and decided not to go through with the sale, the price they were willing to buy at was far too low. I don't think selling to them is worth while. read more

This location always disappoints. The staff is not friendly. Very snooty. They are literally begging for items on Instagram yet when you bring in items for resale, in great condition, they accept nothing. They are very low on stock. Their items often have stains. The books are colored in. They shoes soles are coming off. The tags are often placed in the clothing so when you remove them, they leave holes. Buyer beware and CHECK everything over very very carefully!! read more

This is a nice store but their prices are too high in my opinion. I would much rather do the garage sale thing than come here. I guess this place is for those who don't have time on Friday or Saturday mornings. Everything is second hand here but their prices are above the average garage sale. This place is good for the winter or for the super busy. Some of their stuff looks new but I saw a lot of beaten up items that I wouldn't buy unless they were a dollar. Too rich for my blood here. The good thing is that they are conveniently located and they cater to kids and their parents. read more

I wish I could put lower than one star. This is an awful location and I recommend going anywhere else. The service was disrespectful and snooty. We went for an appraisal of children's curtains and the employee made rude comments about signing papers without explaining why. Saying after handing us a long receipt that we could "read it ourselves". She took our number to let us know when the appraisal was finished-- only to leave us waiting about 45mins without texting. We had to come back to ask how things were going, only for her to rudely say she didn't want what we were offering and would never accept it. She purposely made us wait, did not reach out timely (or at all) and was patronizing about not accepting our items. Not accepting items is fine-- but making us wait, being openly rude, and wasting our time was unacceptable. Highly recommend any other location. read more

Absolutely love this place we go here all the time I only gave 3 stars because they barely give you any money for the stuff you bring in I bought in a box full of perfect condition American girl doll books (a box of about 22 American girl chapter books) and I only got 8.00$ for the whole box American girl books are expensive to buy next time I will not be taking any books in there also we have had many problems with them not giving decent amounts of money for our items but other than that we love shopping there . read more

This store really has nothing going for it. Friendly customer service, not likely. Very few employees are friendly there. I've gone to this store regularly, as I live very close to it, I'm never impressed. I went yesterday and counted 6 people behind the counter, I waited for at least two minutes to be checked out when finally the girl with green streaks through her hair, who had been standing in front of me at the counter the entire time playing with a zipper on a piece of clothing she was holding, decided to acknowledge my existence and allow me to pay for my items. I have repeatedly put clothes back on racks here because the lines have been too long as they have one person running a register while five others run around in back. They act as though they are doing you a favor. My visit yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back, unfortunate. read more

Very disappointed. The store is jammed packed with items...because their prices are too high. I brought stuff to sell, mostly name brand items (NOT Carters & Gymboree) in new and almost new condition, and for the upcoming season, and they bought very little...the problem with that is that the stuff they didn't buy was much nicer than anything they had on the racks!! Most of the stuff looks like garage sale quality, $3-4 for a used Carter shirt, um no thanks!?!? and they weren't even in great condition? Someone is doing a poor job running that store. I also asked an associate about a high end child's brand...and she had never even heard of it?! How do you work in children clothing and not hear of it?! I will not be returning to this location. If I want to spend $3-5 on a Carters t shirt for school Ill just go to the clearance rack at the store and buy it new for that price! SMH read more

This place is a total waste of time, i brought in a double stroller mint condition, barely used and spotless clean, they turned it down, went home sold it online for $100! Had a huge bag of barely worn clothing they offered very little, again sold online and got double the amount, needless to say I'll stick to online selling, I had a few minutes to browse the store, I noticed several of the same outfits at kohl's that they were selling for $15, selling for $3-6 at kohls, you're better off buying new you get a better deal, this place is a rip off and their stuff isn't very clean. read more

What a waste of time. I will not be going back. I have been to this store many times, one time about a year ago I had a good experience. The last few times I have been very disappointed - this was the last time. Today I took in 3 bins of very nice clothes, pajamas, coats, Halloween costumes, plus 1 laundry basket full of gently worn shoes, 1 set of bed rails and 1 single rail. They bought about 6 items and gave me $18. It was ridiculous and totally not worth my time. I asked about the bed rails and she said they had stains on them - there was a tiny little spot of something on one of them. I asked about the shoes and she said they had too many - when I was looking through a few bins for shoes for my kids there were 6 or so pair in each of them - and none as nice as the ones I was trying to sell. I won't be going back to this store to buy or to sell. I suggest if you're trying to sell your items you make sure they are in PERFECT (new) condition. Or maybe it just depends on who is working at the time, because everything they are selling is definitely not perfect. read more

I went to OUC this morning looking for a light jacket for my 3-year-old. I did not find it initially, so I asked an employee. She showed me the correct location. I still couldn't find the jacket I wanted. She checked on me again, suggesting one last location. After still not finding the jacket I wanted, I gave up and got in line to purchase other items. As I was in line, she held up a jacket (that had not yet hit the racks) and asked me if it was what I was looking for. It was PERFECT! I went to sell some old clothes that no longer fit my toddler. I brought him with me & stood in line. As soon as the girl in front of me was finished I moved up to the counter & waited for service. The woman employee who helped the girl in line before me acted like I was invisible. She ignored me while I was standing there waiting with my child. She is around 5'6", short brown hair, Caucasian, glasses, slender & about in her early 40's. As someone walked in the door with a stroller she immediately asked if she could help them. Meanwhile I'm still being ignored waiting with my toddler. I was totally embarrassed. I don't understand why an employee would treat a customer like they are invisible. Eventually I was helped by another employee. Other than the poor customer service from that lady the store is really nice. When I go in there next I will be sure to get her name if I see her again & discuss the incident with her boss! read more
