Never would have I guessed that this was an iconic dress that was used to model babies for this store and Kohl's for the Carter's collection. When we visited yesterday, everything on their tables were $5 each. I bought some adorable mix-n-match long-sleeved shirts and pants that will hold up to day after day of play at home or daycare. Plus, I know what I bought for our oldest is more likely to get tossed because of paint or spaghetti stains than because of poor quality. You can find discount-labeled Carter brands at Walmart and Target which seem to hold up pretty good too, but there's no beating the variety at the real store. Sign up for their email coupons and you can get 25 - 50% off your purchases pretty regularly, without the annoyance of more paper mail.

I ended up having someone remove the tags to try on and walk to a different part of the store to look in a mirror which the staff was fine with and perfectly understanding about but it did create more work for them.
