I recently found this store on FB just scrolling. I'm so glad I found this location in Hoover, as I work in Hoover!! The clothes are in great condition & tagged properly. I'm always able to go in and find my daughters some clothes, shoes or jackets. The staff is helpful. It's very organized!! Some of the prices are a little high comparable to brand new items. A shirt will be $6 (used) and I can go by a new shirt for $4.00 or $6.00 at Walmart or Target. They do have some great deals though. read more

This is a nice kids's consignment store. They have kids clothes along with a selection of toys and really any type of baby item. I particularly come for the clothes. Now, I will say they definitely accept pretty much every brand here, not just high end stuff. So for me, you have to sift through a lot of junk to find the good stuff. But, it is worth it because the prices here are great. There is another kids consignment store nearby that is more selective but the prices are higher. Do not waste your time here I tried to sell them a diaper pail, bassinet, crib mobile and a changing pad they offered me $20 for all 4 items ridiculous considering they are still basically new & they are rude I walked in it was my first time there and I told them I wanted to see if they could buy the items I brought in and the lady had the audacity to say who is she talking too , to another co worker when clearly she works there and was at the register Their items are over priced for being used and not in very good condition you can get brand new clothes for the prices they try to sell there read more

I have been going here for awhile, giving old clothes, and they never accept a lot. They also don't offer lots of money for the little they take. Anyways I live a good bit away and I went to go today to give my clothes ( which they have a 3 bin limit.) When I walk in, very rudely the person says they aren't accepting after 4. I tried to explain we live far away and maybe we could come back tomorrow to pick them up and lady says no very sassy. read more

The staff are really rude and didn't want to take none of my stuff which was also in good condition. I brought everything that they are looking/willing to accept. I don't wanna believe my skin color and sex (black man). I definitely didn't get a fair chance. But it was ok because I was able to help someone else with the stuff. but if I was a single woman I bet they would've took everything I had. read more

I really like the store and I come in at least 2x a month to see what they have. I was here at grand opening & it was muuuuch better then. I know they can only sell what people bring in, but seems like the clothes are not that great anymore. Most things kinda look dingy & faded now. I get most of my daughter's school/play clothes from them. But not cute/cute stuff bc there is never really anything that great in my opinion. I have sold some items to them & the process was easy. They took all but 2 small toy items I had, but the amount I received wasn't that much. So I stopped selling & just donated to goodwill. (You'd get more as a tax break) Don't get me wrong, it's a great store. I will keep coming but mostly for play clothes. This last time- the cashier took forevvvver to ring me up. I only had 5 items. She was new, but geez. She had to re-ring items & overcharged me for 2 bows I had. I do not recommend going here if you are expecting to get money in return for your items. I took at least 30 baby clothing items in here that I would consider "trendy" this time of year. Not only was it a 2 and 1/2 hour wait to know what they were going to select, but when they texted me that my funds were ready they told me they selected 10 items and gave me $4.68. There was also no explanation of the process when I walked in, that may be my mistake for not asking, but they asked if I had been there before and I said no. read more

I frequent once upon a child often. I buy and sell to them all the time. This particular store is the worst I have been to. The selection is not bad but the customer service is awful! I bought a bag of higher end clothes to sell. Not target or Walmart brands. I was offered $19 for 19 items. When I asked to see what they choose to buy I was given a very rude and hesitant answer. She told me to not mess up the clothes if I insisted looking through them. I don't recommend shopping at this location. read more

Love this place! If your wanting to make money on your items go somewhere else but if your wanting to shops for kiddos this is the place! Jim is a wonderful business owner and takes care of his customers 100%. He always makes sure your doing fine and greats you at the door with a smile on his face. The prices are amazing!!! This is one of my favorite used children kids clothing store that I've found. Everytime that I have been in here everything is always well organized, which is one of the number one things i look for in this type of store. Prices are affordable and clothing/shoes are clean and in good shape. Sometimes the boy section is a bit scarce (though i wouldn't say that that's their fault) but we always find something. Plus my son likes the Melissa and Doug educational products they sell. I have yet to sell anything here, so I can't review that but I'm sure it's gonna be about the same as trying to sell items to any of these types of stores. read more

I would not bring stuff there to sell that you think you will get anything for. If you are about to take it to donate bring it here because you will get less than you spend on gas to get there. I had name brand clothes they would not even go thru because they said they didnt have enough staff when I was the only one there and all they did was talk and sit around entire time they went thru some of the stuff I brought. I left there went down the road and got 20 dollars for two items they would not even take at Once Upon a Time. I have been in this store numerous of times and noticed each time the customer service and quality of clothing has declined each time. When they first opened they were awesome friendly and the clothes were not worn out and overpriced. read more
