Walked in and the ladies who worked there were sitting down on their phones and seemed annoyed to be interrupted- didn't even stand up told me I am not allowed to bring in a bag, that it HAD to be a bin (which is absurd and no other store requires this). And that they were not giving out cash, which seems like the main reason to sell to a consignment store. I've been to several OUAC and will never be coming back to this location. I also visited some other consignment shops in town who happily greeted me and bought things and they told me I am not the only one with this experience! Time for new staff! read more

This place is a joke, we drove almost 2 hours to get eye rolls as soon as we walked through the doors with our clothes because someone had to actually get up and do their job, then we get told that they cant take our clothes becuase their not in a tote...well maybe yall should put that on your website and make it clear for people to see the manager is just as rude as her employees highly do not recommend taking your clothes here​ read more

So you can find some really great deals here. But nothing is very organized. You can't even get their shopping carts through the aisles. Let alone a stroller or anything. There's too many bulky items for such a small store. Definitely isn't handicapped accessible. And a fire safety hazard. Would be an improvement to have a bigger location. Another thing is lack of season appropriate clothing. There's constantly spring/summer clothes out year round. Never fall/winter clothes. They also post on their Facebook that they have rude customers towards their employees. But I've witnessed on several occasions, that her employees aren't kind or polite to her customers. You can't demand respect for your employees if your employees don't treat your customers with respect. The customers are who is making your store money. They definitely cater to their friends and family over people who don't go in as often. There are other children consignment stores in Morgantown and surrounding areas that actually greet you and treat you nicely as soon as you enter. read more

I went into the store over the weekend to sell some of the clothes my child has recently outgrown. I was treated with disdain and condescension and was made to feel like a jerk. After what felt like the 100th dirty look and snippy comment I pointed out that they were being rude; after that they told me I was now blacklisted from the store. No problem- I wouldn't return if they paid me. The manager told me she is treated poorly everyday and called rude, makes me think that maybe it's a reflection of her and not the customers walking into the store. I worked retail and served in restaurants for more than a decade, and while I interacted with rude customers- I never was called rude myself. This is possibly THE worst customer service I've received in my entire life. The staff inside the establishment are constantly rude when you have any sort of question and not helpful whatsoever. It's probably the most unprofessional customer service in the Morgantown area. If you need children's clothes or have clothes to get rid of, you'd be ahead to just donate them to someone in need they would be more appreciative and much nicer than this company as a whole. Management that I've came into contact with about my discrepancies were not helpful, but snide. Never again will I recommend or step foot in this establishment or any of the franchises. read more

I agree with the other reviews. This is the absolute worst customer service experience ever! They are outwardly rude to patrons and patrons' children but on their Facebook page, they expect you to accommodate their children who are at work with them. The owner is the rudest, with her employees following suit right behind her. The owner will publicly post issues with customers to her personal Facebook page. I have shopped at several Once Upon a Child locations and the Morgantown store is by far the worst when it comes to customer service and pricing. If I was willing to pay the prices for children's clothing that they were asking, I would prefer to buy new. And to tell a customer that the computer does all the pricing is just idiotic. A computer only does what the operator tells it to do. I left the Morgantown store today without giving them a cent and I won't be back. The Wheeling and Monroeville locations are much better managed and believe in customer service. read more

I love buying used clothes especially for my kids play. I like the organization of the store. I shop there often. I think the prices are very fair. The return policy is very strict which is very in convenient. I have never had a problem with rude staff. read more
