First time I went I was told they did not want anything because they were looking for sets and I said I have multiple sets. The lady I was talking to asked the other lady she didn't have any? And she responded with no and all the clothes were heavily stained even though non of my items were because my child wore the clothes once or never. Second time I tried calling ahead and met with no answer. I called an additional 4 times and no response. That was at around 6:30. I take the drive and get there at 7:18. I walk-in and I am told they stopped buying at 7pm... I walk around the store for a little and hear their phone go off and the girl at the register hung up on them. Definitely will never be back. And would not recommend anyone else go there either. read more

Don't bother with this location. They barely buy anything. My children wear top brands of clothes and shoes and rotate wardrobes each season so the clothes are barely worn. Either they won't take clothes with no explanation or they will take lots of high value items and offer you change (literally). They won't say or advertise what things they are looking for either. Don't even get me started on the rip off sales events. If you want good deals and at least 10x more return for your items please take the extra step and use Poshmark or Marketplace. read more

I think I'm going to have a love hate relationship with this place. What to know. 1) Tons and tons of clothing, toys, games, shoes, strollers and so much more. I mean it's insane. 2) The isles are way too narrow. Tons of parents with kids in strollers and it's like a traffic jam. I literally started to get claustrophobic, no joke! 3) I liked that since it's close to Valentines, the whole front section of the store was Valentine's Day outfits. The store also has all the clothes grouped by sizes and colors (just like my own closet). 4) I brought in some designer items to sell, baby seersucker little rompers, Janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren, etc. They paid me crap. I mean literally crap. I probably would have gotten more in a garage sale or Facebook Market place. 5) I found sports team items there which was cool. 6) They have season clothes on clearance. 7) I did find some Janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren and other kid designer brands and boutique items- you just have to dig. 8) Some items are totally crap - like what were you thinking to buy those items from someone?? Basically this store is way too far for me drive to on the regular. If you live out by Pearland then it's perfect for you. Why can't there be one in the loop? They need a much larger store with all their items crammed in there.M. I'm sure all be back, to dig for 'Stros gear and designer stuff - but maybe like 2x a year. read more

Such great bargains here, but it is extremely cramped. I made the mistake of visiting on a Saturday afternoon and almost had to turn around because I could barely get down the tight aisle alongside everyone else shopping. I came again during the week and it was a much better experience. I have tried to sell a few things and they really give you pennies on the dollar. I brought a brand new bassinet stroller that retails for $180 and they offered me $30. So, don't expect to walk away with fat pockets. read more

New **** I've been coming here for a long time and I've never really had an issue until yesterday I came in with my mother and my daughter they proceeded to go to the toys while I took down what I was planing on selling all while my mom watched my daughter well it gets time to come see how much they were offering when I see a tall white man which I'm guessing is the owner or manager he tells my Hispanic mom something in English which she didn't understand he grabbed some playing cards and threw them on the counter telling the young women ringing up "she opened it " almost yelling i then proceeded to ask my mom did the baby open them ? She told me no she didn't I was watching her the whole time then I asked the young lady to watch the cámaras or ask the guy to review them before I paid for them they went to the back and she came back and told me they saw the cámaras and it was my daughter I asked her to see them another lady came and showed me telling me see she opened them ! I looked at her and told her excuse me that's not my daughter that's another young girl you can see in the video my mom leaving with my daughter while the other girl opened the cards the young lady still hesitant looked at me all weird I had to go get my daughter out the car where she was with my mom just to show them that they weren't the same person and how I only had 1 baby not 2 it was such a disgrace not only to me but to my mother who felt attacked at the moment by the guy yelling at her telling her that my daughter opened the toy when she didn't even after everything was confirmed not once did the guy come and apologize for his actions or how he treated us this is so crazy it took 2 minutes to check the cámara instead of him being rude and profiling us it's crazy because I really did love coming here but I won't be spending any more of my time and money in this store run by idiotic people .. read more

This is the best OUAC that I have ever been to! The workers were so pleasant and the store is very efficient.

Pros: The cleanest location I've been to. Had a good selection of baby gear/larger items. A good selection of clearance material. Employees were helpful and nice! They have shopping carts, which is an underrated feature not all stores have. Great clothing selection. Everything is clean and free of stains. They don't sell sloppy looking clothes. Plenty of expensive name brands were found at this location. Cons: No cons! Love this location! read more

Location owner was very rude, I came in with my toddler, 9 months pregnant and she didn't say hello or anything just stated "I'm sorry we don't take bags" I asked what was the reason and she said there was no specific reason that's just how they've been doing it for about a yr. I've been in a few times. I like the cheap prices and selling back half of what I take. But I did have a problem once. The worker at checkout gave me someone else's buyback price. Of course I had my 3yo child with me so I didn't check my receipt until I was in the car. I realized I was shorted almost $10 dollars. I went to the counter to explain. A new girl tried to help me. I said it would be easier if the same girl helped me. Nope she stayed looking at clothes behind the counter. So another girl came to help. They figured it out and finally gave me the money. Waste of time and horrible attitudes. I said, "I don't even get an apology for the mistake?" She laughed. I stared. Still nothing. I said, "Really?" FINALLY the third girl said, "Sorry about that." Went there for the first time yesterday, very clean and organized. Took items to sell and did my research on their website which gave me an idea of what items were accepted. The staff were nice and helpful. As I waited for my items to get looked through I looked around the shop and selected a few items I'd purchase. Once my items were looked at I received a text and was given my $$ for my items. Seem reasonable and was returned items they didn't accept, purchased my items, and went along my way. I rate it highly because I've been to the Baybrook location and quickly walked out. Got there before 5:00 only to be told by the teenager working the counter (who followed me out into the parking lot) that they did not have time to take my clothes because "someone else had just dropped off a bunch of clothes." Actually asked me if I could come back tomorrow. I said no (I can't), to which she replied "Oh...sorry." Management: Isn't your business model to resell items that customers bring in? That it certainly what you advertise. Where is your customer service? If you can't handle two large drop offs close to the cut off time, then you should disclose as such. It is not the customer's problem that you can't handle two large drop offs right before your cut off time. The teenagers working at this location clearly did not want to be "inconvenienced" by taking a large drop off. They might actually have to work until closing time. read more

I asked detailed information about bringing things into sale, how they wanted it, what season they were taking .....was told washed, no stains, not folded, good used clothes, any season ......I did all of this and then was told they had to many onesies, sleepers, pants and messed up all the nice neat clothes I had all sorted for them. I didn't even get any help getting the tote into the store with 3 month old in stroller, opening door, pushing stroller and carrying tote, all I got was HI WELCOME. But another lady got help, so they pick and choose who they want to help and what and from whom they want to buy from. Watch the things you buy from them, Ive had to give them clothing that was on racks to be sold with STAINS on them for the owner to say oh we over looked that, and toys missing parts. Staff is not very friendly. Was standing at the counter while 3 ladies were standing behind the counter talking. I had to ask which register is open to get service. The girl was rough and not very friendly. She asked me for my ID after she had my debit card. My ID has my married name and my debit card has my maiden name so she def did not actually read it... lol. Not sure what the purpose was of asking. I also find it funny that I had just left the Katy OUAC and they did not ask me for my ID. I really like this store. I've been to 3 different OUAC locations and this one is the cleanest, best organized and friendliest. The owner is frequently up front and very involved with the customers. If you message them on Facebook because you're looking for something specific you can expect a timely response which is great! This store does a good job of only taking items in good conditions. Other locations and other children's resales seem a lot less picky. Anyone who complains about the prices they offer you to buy your used items just needs to understand resale business models in general. Yes it's tough to hear that the huge bag of little Billy's clothes are only worth $15 but this is a business and they are there to make money. read more

I have been shopping at this store and its sister store Platos Closet in Pearland for my family as times are tuff and we do not have a lot of money. I recently had COVID and did not do very well.. Talking to the doctors they asked where have I been what have I done ... after going over everything all I can think of is that some of the used clothes and items I have bought have been infected and these are the only places I have been ,, BE AWARE they do not clean / sanitize items in the store ... Nice and organized. Customer service is very bad!! My first experience here was a few months ago and I was left waiting roughly 10 minutes just to checkout my items! There was a girl there but she didn't bother to ask if I was ready to checkout or if I needed help. Oh, and did I mention the store wasn't packed at all. A short blonde middle age lady who worked there was sooo polite to me when I got there. My toddler was playing with an item the whole time I was shopping. He was well-behaved and made all the employees in the store laugh saying how cute he was. The lady was interacting and smiling with us often. Then when it came to check out, she asked if I wanted the item my toddler was playing with. I said no. That's when she turned her smile upside down and said, "Well then you need to not let your child play with the toy the whole time you're here." Then she had someone else check us out and walked away. She wasn't being genuinely nice at all; she was just trying to make a sale and suddenly turned on me when I didn't buy an item even though I still bought $25 worth of things. I will never return to this location!!! This was my second time since last spring and dealt with the same Manager who is always nasty (she seems like she only likes her kind) ! All other locations are friendly and greet you when you walk in, whether they are doing something or not!!! I walked in nobody spoke and the "manager" who was sorting clothes on this specific day had a nasty attitude! Had the nerve to ask me did I already sell the same stuff to another location, saying " We do the same here" (DUH) Like why would I bring stuff AGAIN that I already KNOW won't be accepted, yea don't make sense! Why should that even be a question and further more why is that even your concern as management to be questioning a customer! I sell at least 2-3 times a week (that's just how many clothes my kids have), why I can't just be doing spring cleaning? Yeah customer service is bad for ALL staff in there!! My wife had a poor experience here trying to resell a trunk full of barely used baby clothes and a "like new" motorized swing. After spending almost an hour with someone combing through all the clothing she was told that, due to a 1-2 dog hairs she found from our pets, they would not buy a single thing she brought. I visited here about 1 month ago. The store was new, clean and very well organized. The employees greeted every person who came in. I spoke to the actual owner of this location and she was so nice and friendly (not fake nice) but genuinely a nice person. Again they have a great selection of clothes, shoes and toys.
